The bible says that in all things "give thanks". Hollymouse and Harrisongoodall, know what? the news you received about others being pregnant is okay... I did not tell anyone that I was having the iui done and I am sure neither did you so they were excited about their news and soon we all will have news to tell as well.

I'm on my last day of the 2ww, will get the results tomorrow from a blood draw. However, I did take a hpt this morning and it was negative. Has anyone gotten a negative hpt, but the blood test was positive? This is my first iui.

Harrisongoodall, I agree with CAI. I think you should def. go on your vacation. It will be a nice get away for you and your partner and time to relax and regroup. My husband and I have already said, if IUI doesn’t work the 1st or 2nd time, we are going to take a break and go on vacation.

CAI, thanks for the baby dust. I hope you had a beautiful day with your husband yesterday! :) Today, I am 11 days post IUI today and I am really starting to get nervous. I didn’t think the first week was that bad, but this final week has been tough. Yesterday, I started to get these very sharp pains on my right side right above my pelvic bone. It continued into this morning, but has since subsided. I have had some regular cramps today and I am praying it’s not AF on her way. I may take a HPT over the next couple of days leading up to the blood work. I have my blood work at 7:30am on Wednesday, but then I have to go to work. If it’s going to be a BFN, I just want to prepare myself as I will be at the office when I get the phone call and don’t want to be really upset… I am wondering if anyone else on here has experienced these really sharp pains during their 2ww?

Welcome twinsplz to the forum! Jlh, I have def. read many stories online about women that have gotten BFN’s all the way to 14 dpo and then get BFP, so don’t lose hope. It is def. possible, especially if you ovulated later than you thought or implantation occured later. Cdoc10, how are you feeling? Babydust to you all!

Hi Harrisongoodall, could you do both the vacation and iui as you have already paid for the vacation? 6,000 pounds is a lot of money or I am hoping that you can get a refund. It you can't do both, here is hoping that during this month you can time your ovulation and sex :) as a lady told me at my wedding, "let it soak" I did not understand at the time what she was talking about but now I now; same way we had to lay still for the 15 to 20 minutes after the iui, let us practice that at home.

Hi twinsplz and jlp, welcome to the forum. Baby dust to both of you. Good luck tomorrow Jlp, hope you are one of the first with success with iui.
