babysophy, I send you all my baby dust and I'm sure it will work next time. I start getting really sick (night and day, non stop). My doctor says with twins you get sick earlier and more than normal. So after all the IUI and all the stress and waiting, it all continues. :) But at least you know you are going to get a bundle of joy at the end. |

cdefonso, thanks. My doctor said that I had 4 follicles (before IUI), and that I have high chance of getting twins or triplets. Good Luck to you, I hope you get good news soon. |

SJP, Overall I have been trying to get pregnant for 5 and a half years. I did in total 5 IUI, one of the was a double (back to back), so only 4 cycles, First two were no medecitation cycles and last two were with follistim (injections). I didn't fill anything different at all. Only bbs hurt a lot, but I usually get that before period. I took a pregnancy test on day 11 and it was positive. And then I did blood work to confirm on day 12. I felt normal for another week and then start feeling differently. Were I start feeling sick, bbs started to hurt differently. Start having different cravings. |

Hello everyone. I am new here and just wanted to share my story. I've enjoyed reading everyone all of your stories! My DH and I have adopted 4 children (sibling group), but want more. I have PCOS and we just started trying injectables a couple of months ago. My first cycle got canceled b/c I had 12 mature follicles. I am in the middle of my 2ww right now for cycle number two. I only have one follicle this time so I am pretty sure that my chances are crappy! We are doing timed intercourse b/c we the nurse says it's not really the best cycle to do IUI. But I am trying to have faith that God will make this happen for us. We got our meds free through a fertility place and we prayed that we would get pregnant and not have to buy anymore meds. Well...we had half a dose of meds left and got some more from the doc and had planned on paying for it later, but they called and said to go ahead and do the ovidrel shot b/c my body was trying to ovulate on it's own. So we didn't have to buy anymore meds this time! I am hoping that God is answering our prayers with our one little follicle. If anyone has had any success with timed intercourse, please share your story with me! Thanks, girls! Nice to have support! |

Had ultrasound this morning - 3 mature follicles! Two of them were at 21 and the other one was at 23, so we've scheduled the IUI tomorrow morning. Only had one mature follicle last time, so I am hoping this is a good sign! |

I had my first IUI 11 days ago. I tested yesterday and got a BIG negative sign. :( I've tried to stay busy these past 11 days, but it is not easy. Guess I have to go but tampons again. |

Hi all! I have been ttc for several years! I have done Clomid cycles about 6 different times. I did 100mg Clomid for IUI cycle and went in on the 14th and had no mature follicles. My dr then wrote me for 150mg to start on the 16th...2 days later!!!! I had never heard of this!! I'm taking them...I will let you know how it goes! I go back in on the 25th for a scan to see if I have any mature follicles! I have been reading this forum for several months and feel that I know you all and I finally joined! |
