First Time IUI

Im 23 and my husband is 25 and were both very healthy people who have been tryng to concieve for over a year. Turns out i wasnt ovulating so they put me on clomid 50mg and that worked (caused me to ovulate) and my husband who seemed fine had a sample tested and his sample showed an extreamly low count, 4 million. were doing this last month (MAY) natural and if it doesnt work then in JUNE (next month) we will do our first IUI. Im very anxious and scared it isnt going to work. My question is has anybody had any sucess stories with IUI while on CLOMID with that low of a sperm count? Please...All answers and comments welcome. Hi passthedust23 glad to hear your ovulating now that's a start. My scenario is similar, I have been trying for a while now but to no avail. My partners sperm is similar, although he had good count we were told the 99% were more abnormal & sluggish...Heard lots about this clomid treatment, i hope my Dr puts me on that also...now ive had the all clear from my ultrasound scan.
so wot is IUI - good luck with whatever it is. I think i've heard of that before and your on the right track (baby dust sprinked)..
Please let me know how you get on - may be me soon who also needs to go down this route and its always nice to talk to someone who has shared the same experience!!

I just had my second IUI on Sunday, and have had three cycles on clomid. No, my husband does not have a low count but I know of two women whose husbands have low counts and had successful IUIs.
