I am starting my first unperscribed cycle of clomid soon, I have tried to get pregnant over 3 years(24 years old), and don't believe I ovulate, we have tried everything, I have looked into clomid more than a year before ordering it, does anyone know if the side effects are very rare and which ones are not so rare? Also, has anyone heard of the chances of having multiples, we wouldn't mind eithor way?

First of all, I don't condone the use of unprescribed medication (because it is illegal) but I am not going to judge you, I am just going to tell you about my experience: I have done 2 rounds of clomid one at 50mg and another one at 100mg and neither one worked for me. I am still not ovulating. I had horrible side effects. In 2 months I have gained almost 10 pounds, I get hot flashes in the day and at night, on 100mg I had severe pain in my ovaries and I am extra moody. I, personally, HATE clomid...I'm sure that I'd feel differently if it worked for me though:) I hope this helps. As for multiples you have a 1 in 10 chance of conceiving them.
