Feeling "out of the loop"

Ok, so I decided to start this thread for any women who find it hard to jump in on these long threads. I know I have said this before and one or two women have tried to reassure me, but I feel like people have developed relationships (which is wonderful), but it's hard to join in on certain threads. No, not hormones... Just how I feel. I don't mean to offend anyone, this has just been a hard process and I would like to feel the same support as others... Thanks!

ekoorb_79 - March 20

I really appreciate it linds, but I kind of just want to see where this takes me. I don't mean to sound rude. I do wish all of you the best and will continue to check in an root for you all. Thank you again, I really do appreciate it. If it doesn't work out maybe I'll just go back to watching

Ekoorb, I'll come join you. I normally just read along on everyone's thread and am only a part of a couple of actual thread. Where are you on your cycle? I'm currently 2 dpo on a Clomid/IUI cycle. I am scheduled to go in for a Beta test on Friday the 30th. I'm nervous and am trying to stay confident that this is the month. Let's actually see if the power of suggestion actually works. I am telling myself that I am pregnant and that the embie is developing. Don't feel lost or left out. We are here for you. By the way if you didn't already figure it out my name is Hannah and I'm in Texas.

ekoorb_79 - March 20

Hi Hannah, I'm Brooke from NY. Thanks for joining, it means tons to me. I have actually been following your ttc journey and have picked up on the power of suggestion. I told my husband about it when I first read it and have decided to try it myself. Kind of funny ,because it's the first advice I have taken from any thread. Thanks! As for me, I am on 11 dpo on a follistim/ IUI cycle. I go in for my beta on monday 3/26. We are both pretty close. I'm not an early tester. I don't like to torture myself. This entire process is enough torment for me. LOL. Thanks again Hannah. WE ARE PREGNANTWE ARE PREGNANT...WE ARE PREGNANT WE ARE PREGNANT.....WE ARE PREGNANT.........

ekoorb_79 - March 20

Hannah, How many times have you tries IUI? This is my second time.

Hannah B - March 20

Brooke, so how long have you been TTC? For me the actual time trying has only been I would think 5 months. However, we decided to try over 1 1/2 years ago, but had to go through various issues that would allow me to even start. Hopefully we are in the good now and no new surprises come up. I think I remember reading on a previous thread that you have a daughter? Will this be baby #2? This will be our first. You've got it right. We are pregnant, we are pregnant, we are pregnant.

ekoorb_79 - March 20

Yes, I do have a daughter. Her name is Sydney and she is 3. She's so much fun and I love her so much! I wasn't trying to get pregnant when I did w/ her, but I wasn't not trying and when I least expected it, I found out I was 2 months pregnant. I don't know if you have ever read my story before. I have posted it before. It's one of those miracle stories. I'll tell the whole thing if you haven't heard it. We are pregnant, we are pregnant, we are pregnant~~~~~~~~~~~

Hannah B - March 20

Brooke, your daughter's name is very pretty. I like that name. No I don't recall your miracle story. I am sitting in a conference call so i need the distraction. :-)

Thanks, one of my husbands friends named her, my husband and I could never agree.Sorry Hannah I got a little busy at work. Well, for starers I was diagnosed w/ endometreosis when I was 20 (28 now) and told I would have a hard time trying to have a baby, so nedless to say my husband and I were NEVER careful. When I was 23 my periods started to get really bad and the docs decided to perform a laparoscopy. Shortly after surgery I got a really bad staff infection from surgery oh, Lap showed nothing significant, but doctors wanted me to start taking Lupron to help with AF pains, butt...... I had to get my period first. Long story made a little shorter, I decided for "fun" to take pregnancy test and to my surprise....BPT! I was so surprised because I was not feeling well, so I had not bed since before surgery. I went to the doctor and to my surprise and doctors I was 8 weeks along! I had a sono and everything and I couldn't believe it and I still can't. Oh I left out the really significant part that I was on birth control pills and I NEVER missed a pill. I was only on them for 6 months, it was part of the process to help w/ the endometreosis. Hard to believe baby could survive surgery and all the pain meds and why didt they see her in there? Who knows! Hope it wasn't too long for you. Funny RE doesn't think I have endometreosis. Sometimes I don't know what to think.
So, how are you feeling? Have you been having any symptoms? What do you do for a living? Today for the first time I was feeling some significant symptoms. I had some cramping, really bad headache and sore boobs. Talk to you soon!

Hi girls, I'm new over here but i'd like to join in. I've been around "Signs of Pg"(very helpful btw) for a couple weeks. So now i'm checkin out this part and "Pg Loss..." im a true veteran ttc from Pa.

ekoorb_79 - March 21

Welcome Alicia! How long have you been ttc?

auburnlocks - March 21

Hi, I would like to join too. I have been watching these threads for a couple of months. I know exactly how you feel about just jumping in those long threads.

ekoorb_79 - March 21

Hi Auburn, Thanks for joining. It makes me feel better knowing I'm not the only one having trouble jumping in on other threads, but sad also because we feel that way. Once I said something on one of the thread, and one of the ladies asked me if that was my hormones talking- I have to say the more I thought about it the more insulted I got. I thought it was a little insensitive considering why we are all here. I try to choose my words very carefully because this is a sensitive situation we are all in. Ok, I'm off my soapbox now. Auburn, how long have you been TTC?

auburnlocks - March 21

my dh and I decided about 2 years ago that we were just going to see if something would happen (everyone else we know can get pregnant at the drop of hat) well nothing happend. I was really monitoring my temps or anything, just hoping that one day we would find out that we were going to be parents. It just wasn't happening and everyone is like oh it will happen, your stressing yourself out about it, it will happen when you least expect it. So far no luck. I finally talked to my doctor about it and they ran all the tests - everything is fine. My doctor thinks that we are just off on our timing. So since January (of this year) I have been doing the temping in the morning, my doc told me to take prenatal vitamins, so I have been doing that. I have been eating healthy and nothing has happened. I have regular periods so my doc put me on clomid 50mg last month days 3-7 and told me that if it did not work then this month I he would up the dosage - well I started AF when my doc and his nurse were out of town and by time they got back I was already past the days that I should have taken the meds. So now I am cd12 and getting close to O (which apparently I am now noticing since charting that I am a late O'er) before I thought I was regular on day 14 (apparently not). We are trying this month and hoping that we don't need another round of clomid. Oh and by the way - I just found out last week that my sister is pregnant with #3. I am happy for her, but it stings alittle. So that is my long story.

TMR - March 21

ekoorb_79 - I have felt left out of the loop as well & have been waiting for someone to start a new post that I could join. Thank you for taking the initiative!!

My story - we were trying for over a year with no success. Had all the tests done & there were no underlying conditions to prevent pregnancy?? We then tried Clomid for 6 mon w/o luck. We tried 2 IUI cycles. I was about to start an IVF cycle & we ended up being pregnant on our own. However, it ended due to an ectopic pregnancy. I am now in the middle of an IVF cycle & am about 4 days away from retrieval. It's been quite a journey for us & we are really looking forward to some positive results.

ekoorb_79 - March 21

I know Auburn, it can be tough seeing others around you becoming pregnant so easily, but you will have your baby too.Sounds like you have been doing everything to help make it happen. I will keep my fingers and toes crossed for you girl. You would be surprised how many women don't know when they O, myself included. I was also on clomid, but my doctor at the time was just giving me a prescription and not monitoring me at all.
