I too have endometriosis and my gyno put me on Zoladex which is a needle I got every month for 6 months. One month in my left ovary the next in my right. I have not had my periods since November last year, but today after 10 weeks after my last treatment they came. I had all symptoms of preg. I was so sure I was preg. In a way, I'm glad they have come as I know my hormones are back and ready to go. The treatment was a success and my DR said to start trying as I have a better chance now after treatment. For 5 years I got the same treatment as lissylou, it's your bowels etc etc. Was diagnosed with POCS also and was put on Clomid but didn't work so I had the lapo and endo was diagnosed and treated. I know a few people who have had endo, and they have fallen pregnant so it will happen all in good time as everything happens for a reason even though we don't like to thinks so. God is giving, so I know my turn is just around the corner. Stay positive and don't let anyone bring you down. Patience is the key. Baby Dust To You!

I have endo and I am 23 weeks pregnant. I had to have my left ovary removed because the cyst that I had was causing me to bleed internally. My Doctor told me that the endo had causeed such severe damage that I was not going to be able to have children. I just want to say keep your faith in God and everything is possible. I do however want to say that my pregnancy has not been easy at all. Make sure that you are willing to go through any and everything.

I knew a woman who was 31, had endo and had surgery to fix it. The doctor told her it would take her 8-10 years to get pregnant. So, she went off all of her birth control because she did not want children. And...5-6 months later!!! PREGGO! So, dont always believe what the docs tell you...every single woman is diff.

I went thru 2 surgeries at age 22, and took lupron shots for 6 months afterwards to prevent occurance. 2 years later, I had my first, and am on my fith pregnancy. I had 4 beautifukl children. It takes time, and I learned not to time things, just sit back and relax. Make sure your significant other's sperm count is mormal. That maight be a factor in all this also.

Happy Story - June 23

I just heard a story yesterday from a friend about her friend. her friend (and hubby) had been tcc for 2 or 3 years but found out that she had endo & fibroids. Dr told her that she would have a hard time conceiving if she didn't get problem fixed. after blood work, she went it back to talk to nurse to schedule appointment for her surgery. the nurse looked at her chart and told that there was another problem, she went to get the Dr. of course the girl was afraid and didn't know what to expect. well, Dr. came in and told her that the surgery could not be done because SHE WAS PREGNANT!!!! lesson to learn: there is only one true doctor...and His name is God. smile.

hi i was diagnosed with this as well just recently as i developed a cyst on my ovary. the cyst was actually discovered when i found out i was pregnant and it continued to grow for 9 months, somehow i got pregnant and it only took a few months of trying. i had our baby in Nov 2004. my doctor thought the cyst would shrink on its own once i had the baby and it did not 8 months later i still have and now it was getting painful and bleeding so when they did the surgery to remove it they discovered in fact i do have endometriosis and it was a "chocolate cyst" the size of an orange.. anyway there is hope just keep trying who knows maybe if i had of known i had the condition when we were trying maybe the added stress would of led to me not getting pregnant? i have heard of many cases where stress was leading to the couple not conceiving.. hope this gives you some hope for the future! take care of yourself. good luck
