IM 18 YEARS OLD AND IVE ALWAYS BEEN IN RELATIONSHIPS SO I SOMETIMES DONT USE CONDOMS I HAVE BEEN ON DEPO TWICE ONCE FOR JUST THREE MONTHS AND IM ON IT NOW BUT IM NOT GETTING MY NEXT SHOT. I HAVE ALSO BEEN ON BIRTH CONTROL PILL. BUT BEFORE THAT WHEN I WAS 16 ME AND MY AT THE TIME BOYFRIEND STOP USING PROTECTION AND I NEVER GOT PREGNANT. ALSO FOLLOWING 3 OTHER BOYFRIENDS THE SAME THING.. I AM NOW 18. IM THINKING I CANT GET PREGNANT. IS THAT POSSIBLE?? IM VERRRRY SCARED

LL27, I would not give up hope for some day having a family. When you become ready to have a family, you can go see a fertility doctor. With the technology today, there are very few who cannot be helped by fertility doctors.
Can I ask why you were and are having unprotected sex at such a young age? Are you trying to get pregnant?

NO I WASNT ITS JUST THAT I DID IT ONCE AND I DIDNT GET PREGNANT SO I THOUGHT MAYBE I DIDNT HAVE TO USE THEM I WAS YOUNG AND STUPID. BUT THATS THE THING I REALLY DIDNT THINK I WOULD EVER HAVE TO GO THROUGH FERTILITY TO HAVE A BABY... IF I WAS TO GET PREGNANT NOW I WOULD KEEP IT BEING SCARED THAT I WOULDNT BE ABLE TO HAVE ANOTHER ONE

LL-it could be that you just werent having sex while you are ovulating. there are only like 2 days a month that a woman can get pregnant and any normal couple having sex at the right time of month only has a 24% chance of getting pregnant each month. thats not much of a chance so it doesnt mean that you cant get pregnant. it may just be that you havent had sex at the right time of the month. also you can get pregnant having sex 1 time during your fertile period but most women it takes more than that. good luck. also maybe buy some ovulation tests and make sure that you are ovulating. if your not maybe you can take clomid or femara to help you ovulate. take care.

Hi I'm 31yrs old & myself & my husband have been trying for 1yr1/2. I am finding it sooo upsetting that nothing is happening & the doctors say we can't have any fertility treatment until we have tried for 3yrs. We have had tests which say we are both fine. What's goign on???

poppet-i would change doctors because mine told me that a woman over 25 who has tried for a year to get pregnant and no success should start trying fertility treatments. i have never heard of them amking someone wait to try treatments unless they are in their early 20's.good luck

I am 30 and tried for 8 months and could not get pg, I went to fertility doctor and they did an hsg and I got pregnant 3 days after the procedure.
