Hope - February 22

I just joined this forum and guess what I have never received period in my life without taking hormone pills because my hormone level is very low. I am 29 and trying to conceive but I don't ovulate and sometimes I feel soo dissapointed and somehow different from all women. It is sooo sad to be like this. I am thinking to start with VITEX . Please, anyone similar experience. Please don't let me down...please comment :o( (Just for your information whenever I take pills I have my cycle in 28 days)

'Hope' dats kinda similar to me, i only get regular cycles when im on the pill and i dont really ovulate on my own. I got pregnant once 2 years ago, but had an early miscarriage. Right now im on Vitex and it might have made me ovulate (fingers crossed) Vitex doesnt contain any artifial chemicals but triggers your brain to produce its own natural hormones. it can take up to 6 months to work, but ive been taking it for 1 month now and ive already had a 'natural' period with out any drugs. So it seems to be working for me :)

the one dat im using is Agnus Castus which is Vitex and its by Health Plus, 60 vegan tablets and it was at a decent price too. I ordered this on online, but i found a shop that i can buy it from when this has finished. But its good to search around and see the best prices and make sure its a secure company ;)

I started taking Vitex this month after reading stats on it's clinical use on drcolbert.com. I have had irregular cycles all my life and am now trying to conceive the natural way. I will let you know what happens.

I'm 32 years old and have been having irregular periods every since the age of 21. I've taken Provera on numerous occasions, and only received some spotting as a result. I came across Vitex when I was searching for a natural cure. After taking Vitex for only 3 weeks, I got my cycle. In my opinion, it's better than what the doctor's are prescribing. I hope to be pregnant before 2005 is out with my first child. If any other women suffer from PCOS like myself, try Vitex. You've nothing to lose.

For those who have had sucess taking Vitex what is the daily dosage you are taking? Does anyone know if it is best to buy Vitex solo vs. in a Fertility blend like FertilAid? I've got the same irregular period problem but am not ready to try Clomid or other fertility drugs.

Hi,
My case is just like Australia M's, even the cycle lengths, which were all over the place. I took vitex for one month, after trying for over a year and then found I was pregnant. I don't know if it's coincidence as I know it sometimes takes months to work, but guess I'll never know. I'd definately recommend it for a few months, it can't hurt.

For those who's cycle became regular from vitex, how much were you taking... currently, I am taking 240mg... too much or too little?
