Isa, that is wonderful that you have 4 eggs!!! That means that out of the 4 highest when you triggered that they were able to get 4 out! You have eggs... I really pray that all works out for you. Rest, rest, rest... I felt like total sh$@&^ for several days. I don't care what anyone says... the ER takes alot out of ya. Mel, for my FET, the RE said one cycle off then gave me a perscrip for estrodol to begin on day 1 on my next cycle. No BCPs. Not sure what the plan is after that. Since I had my AF on 12/26, I should see my next cycle around the end of Jan/1st week of Feb. Mel, I am moving to northern Atlanta to Cumming, GA. I can't wait! Ready to get to the next chapter of my life... kids, new home... I think we all are!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!! Isa- thanks for the input on the cetrotide... I had my 2nd shot today! LMAO, MEGA!!! You are HILARIOUS!! I don't understand why your DH is so unwilling to switch places, HUH?!!! LOL!!! CMEK- I was outside of Tampa, Wesley Chapel/Pasco County area! I was on 300units of gonal-F BUT today that got bumped up to 450units! RE said I am not reacting quick enough! She said the last time I took Gonal-F, it took 18 DAYS for a favorable reaction! Now that you mention it CMEL, I do have unexplained infertility! They have tried several things that according to my RE should have worked so I would say unexplained is the right answer! When I was first put on the meds this cycle, the nurse (my fav!) told me anywhere between 1/8 & 1/14 would be the ER day and then 3 days later would be the ET, I don't see 1/8 being the date so sometime after that! ISA- GREAT follie sizes! I am hoping that all is well with you today! Where in NY do you live, if you don't mind me asking?! BABY- I was where you are back in July/August and I have to tell you, I thought I was going to be devastated BUT funny enough, I wasn't!!! I am not saying that you can't feel devastated, by all means please feel how ever you want but know that "this too shall pass!" ROBYN- $135,000 is a heck of a lot of money, WOAH!!! I was told that mine would have been $11,800 with out the grant program that I am now a part of, so now mine will be around $4850, which the RE is willing ot have me pay off with time! I recall you talking about discharge, is there some sort of discharge that you get while pg that is different than any other time?! I am curious as to what your occupation is? I am sure it has something to do with law enforcement! What part of Florida are you in? What a New Years Eve for you!!! I am very pleased to know that you and baby are well! BTW, more ultrasounds works for me, LOL!!! MEGA, I had the same symptoms with my m/c... not fun!!! JENG-packing, LOL!! I did that 6 months ago and I am still not settled! DH & I decided that the next move we make is to our own house! I can't wait for that! I would say that I am at the mid end of my cycle, I am doing my drugs and waiting for my follies to get big! My lining is great! The RE has raised the gonal-f so hopefully I wilol be doing ER soon! DH started his antibiotics Friday night! I look forward to hearing more from all of you!!! Sorry, if I missed anyone but I want to hear from everyone! HAPPY NEW YEAR again!

For thos of you that are with child, when do you start seeing an OB? And how does this work for us IVF'ers? Do we see specific OB's? When does the constant beta testing stop?

JB0405 - January 2

CMAL- Does insurance cover your IVF's everytime or are you doing a pay as you go plan? ISA- NICE!!!! 4 EGGS!!! have you & DH discussed multiples? My DH & I have talked... I asked how he would feel about triplets, he said that would be 1 bundle of joy & 2 headaches, LOL!!! I could do nothing but laugh! Ladies, is there anymore insight as to timing of pregnancy? is it from ER or after ET?

JB0405 - January 2

Sorry, I meant CMEL!!! Ladies, can we start a new thread? This one has gotten VERY long!!!

Mega - January 2

Yes, I'd say it's definitely time to start a new thread! I'll do that after this post if no one beat me to it. JB--Yes, men are unreasonable at times, aren't they?! You'd think they'd want to experience all the crappola we have to in this whole process, but no!!! 1 measly shot compared our zillions of shots--the Babies! Just kidding! (sorta)...That grant you got sounds fantastic--$4,800 down from $11 K, great deal. What a wonderful program. Those estimates the nurses give at the start of each IVF cycle is just that, what day on ave. most women are ready for ER/ET. Some women take longer than others, hopefully that higher dose will make some more high quality eggies. So even if you don't retrieve on the 8th, it's coming up fast. What a cool start to 07, no?! Most REs just release you back to your old OB at anywhere from 10 to 12 weeks of pg +/-. My clinic will send a letter first though to the OB explaining that the pg is an IVF pg, & maybe giving more med. history, etc...1 bundle of joy, 2 headaches. That's funny. Probably an apt description of the joys of twins though, LOL! Still would love that though. Figuring out due dates from IVF is calculated from the ER date, that's considered "ovulation." http://www.ivf.ca/calcu.htm (remove any -'s the program might add).

Isa glad everything went well!! 4 is great!! You are doing a day 3 right!! I will pray those eembies start dividing!!! Thinking of you and take it easy!! Mega hoping AFs hows soon!! Jen my sis lives in Smyrna - i do like atlanta a lot!! JB the ER is coming up quickly so exciting!!! We could start a new thread Jan/Feb ivfers?? JB my insurance covers zero! I 'm on the shared risked program so you get several cycles for one BIG FEE!! I joined over to dh's insurance so hopefully that will help cover some of the med costs!

Mega - January 2

I already started a new thread--called January/February 2007 IVFers!!! I'll bump it up over this one. Hope you all find it!
