Hey hey everybody!! **Prayn**Sorry about your BFN... this is hard! I'm glad we have such a great support group! **Gurinsa** You are my cycle buddy girl! I am cd 4, too. We will plow through this wicked waiting game together! *Zoey** I asked you this earlier, but I really need to know.... was your last period 2 days and you tested and got BFN and didn't know it until your + Opk?My HPT was BFN today, but still sore nipples and still no af.... I don't get it... **PBA**Hope you're doing well! **Carolina** I am not sure about taking fertilaid while on clomid. I was looking into that, too, but just for guys, so I never really looked into that. I would ask your dr. Let me know how that goes, maybe I'll go ahead and get it for DH... I wouldnt' worry about missing today if the OPK was -.. you can always start your every other day tomorrow. **Aggie**How are you girl? **What ist he difference between IUI and IVF? Sorry to be dense, but I am not sure..... I just know one of those is I believe the next step if things with trying to figure DHs sperm count don't go well... **MJ0305** I am in the same boat with having a DH with a low sc and having to be on provera/clomid. I do ovulate on my own, but to be more regular, I am on clomid. I am taking this month off b/c, like you said, you're only supposed to be on it so long. This would be my 5th month, so since we're still trying to figure out DH's sc issues (Urologist appt July 25), I figured this is the best month to take off...who knows...maybe it will still happen... Okay ladies, I'm off... have a great night!

Hoping--IUI is Intrauterine Insemmination. They wash the sperm to separate it from the semen, then use a thin catheter to insert it into the uterus. It is less invasive and much less expensive than IVF, so they usually try that first. My RE says they like to have a sperm count of at least 10 mil after washing for IUI. We are a little under that but trying it first since IVF is so expensive. I'm not nearly as familiar with IVF, but here goes...IVF is Invitro Fertilization. They actually harvest the mature eggs and put them in a petri dish with the sperm. Then about a week later, they take the ones that have fertilized properly and put them in the uterus and hope they implant. I didn't know anything about any of this stuff a year ago. If my next IUI doesn't work, we are going to have to look into IVF, so I will be researching a lot more. I hope this helps. --Jennifer

Good evening ladies.......... Well, af showed up today, but i'm pretty ok with it. I pretty much knew i wasn't prego with all my bfn's. So I guess I will try round 4 of clomid. If it doesn't work this time i will probably get the hsg :-( I was trying to avoid that, i'll try not to worry about it! How's the newly prego ladies doing???

***MANDY, MrsRisTTC#1, and all you other ladies who had DH tested: we got our results back today from DH's semen analysis SA. He's 29 so I just assumed all would be well... SURPRISED to find out that both his motility and morphology were abnormal. Motility supposed to be >50%, but his was 24%. Morphology supposed to be >14%, his was 3%. So... RE will let us know tomorrow if we should a) retest again or b) referral to a urologist who specializes in male fertility. This was big news to us. So far, I've been the one with the questions about my fertility! If he retests and gets another abnormal, looks like IUI will be in the cards for us... **ERIN** glad you have DH set up to get SA done on your cd12 when you get u/s. SOOOO glad I convinced DH to get it done this month. I've had 2 cycles on clomid and I am currently on my 2nd cycle on femara (which no one on this thread seems to be taking!!!)
More importantly: CONGRATULATIONS TO AMANDA AND ZOEY! Your news is so rewarding to me... I feel happy for you and hope for myself and the rest of the ladies. GURINSA was right, our thread feels like it is charged with great energy this week.

*Breezie* if you have n/v (nausea/vomiting) have you talked w/ your OB about taking an antiemetic like zophran, kytril or anzemet? My sister-in-law is 39 weeks pg w/ her 2nd boy... both pregnancies she suffered w/ n/v the entire 9 months. She depends on zofran or anzemet to get through the day. just a thought. btw they are all very safe for pregnancy.

prayin4....... sooo bummed to hear af showed up uninvited. you need your HSG b/w cd 5 --11 so get that scheduled and done! It will be a huge peace of mind to know that your tubes are clear, or, that there is a situation to contend with. Did it one week ago. Lots of anticipation and dread, mostly due to the thought of instuments inserted you-know-where. Maybe you'll be lucky like GURIN_SA and get a hot doc! I, too, had a caring RN who held my hand and doted on me. Very comforting but not very necessary as the test was NO BIG DEAL. Brief brief uterine cramping, then it stops and all is well. REMEMBER to take 4 tabs (800 mg) of Motrin / Ibproferen one hour b/4 your HSG. Wow I am writing a lot tonight must be due to the cool chardonnay I'm drinking right now:-) Nice precurser to BD since I'm cd13 and OPT + . O'ing so its all good!
