Hi, I just got my 1st Positive on an OPK. That means I'm due to ovulate in 12-48 hours. A huge micrcle in my case. So now I have to take Progestone Suppositories b/c I have a history of Miscarrige. I am on Cycle day 21 right now, after my first round of Clomid days 5-9. When does your baby require the progestrone? When should I start my 1st pill? Doctors are giving me different answers. Do I wait the 48hours, and then take it, or do I wait 5 days and then take it??

I always start my progesterone AFTER I ovulate... that's what my RE prescribes and all the reading I have done says the same thing. I guess it's because that's when your body would naturally start producing the progesterone. Hope that helps and hope it's a successful cycle for you! Smiles and Babydust to you!.... T

So you start it the day after you ovulate, or do you wait a few days after?

I was told to start my progesterone the night after I ovulated. Usually on clomid you can tell when you ovulate because you can feel it. So let's say you feel crampy and bloated tomorrow, then start your progesterone on Monday night.
