Well AF arrived on Saturday so not BFP this time round. Oh well started second round of clomid yesterday so fingers crossed again. I am wondering if i had blood tests on cd 18 and 21 and they both showed ovulation; wot days that meant i ovulated on because it doesn't mean those exact days does it?? Im just abit confused when should i BD??

Jac1019 - i think if you are ovulating naturally then suggest staying off clomid, i would only use it if really necessary. Sounds like our AF are due around the same days. So when do you think i should BD do you have any idea i really want to get this month right, id love to tell my mum & dad around Christmas time that I am pregnant :-)

Josie, on what day was your last blood test taken. The 54 count is very good, my doc only did one blood test in my 3 months on clomid, but mine was 50 I think and he said that was a great ovulation, so you did ovulate. I'm just thinking, if they did a test later, your progesterone would be falling before AF starts, which happened right? Perhaps what happened is this month you just had a short Luteal phase, so maybe AF came a bit sooner after ovulation than the doctors expected, my luteal phase is only 12 days, not 14, but I know I had a month where i did ovulate and got AF 5 days later, which is not even long enough for implantation, not sure what causes that to happen though, it was only one time I think.

AFM: I'm on CD25, bit confused as I did not really temp this month, only the last week, but have a definitive raise today.. little raise yest.. so who knows, I could've ovulated fri, sat or sunday.. and have't BD'd since fri.. so now just to wait. And see. My timinig always seems off to me, women with perfect 28 day cycles are SO lucky to know when to time things. This month I had alot of EWCM though which I never had, dunno if its the pregnacare conception i started taking again. Not gonna stress myself out, i actually have a very hectic month and a half coming up, with melodrama and stuff. one girl in our group is 6 weeks pregnant, and i can see she's going to be very tired. not that i would mind being tired... ;-)

ps. i was thinking of using natural progesterone cream for the next 14 days, anyone tried this after ovulation? just to keep levels up in case implantation occurs, and then only stop it after a BFN?

Well im back after a busy week at work. Im finished my second round of clomid today, had some hot sweats at night this time round, having had none on my first round - however if it works im up for anything. So now i need to try and get my dates worked out, i spoke to the hospital yestrday and explained that I am taking clomid cd 2-6 and asked when she thought i should BD...she said try cd8??? does anybody else think this is really early on in my cycle?? I know after my blood tests last month i showed ovulation on cd18 and cd21 but when am i suppose to BD...it is sooo confusing for me!!!

Angel did you try the progesterone cream? let me know if so.

Hi Josie,
If you can afford it, buy a week of opk's and start testing daily from cd 10-12. How many days was your last cycle? If it was 30, then you should have ovulated around day 16. So if you can count 14 days back from when af arrived, then start a few testing a few days before that just to be sure. It's the easiest way! Then you should bd the night of and two Biggs after a positive on opk, best of luck!

Hello to all I was just wondering if grapefruit juice really works cause I'm getting really angry we've been trying for 6 years and we've tried everything possible.I just finished my 3rd dose of clomide which every dose they have raised each time the dose I just finished a few days ago was 200 mg,but I went to doc today and she told me I still was ovulating today is my cd14. She said the only good news she had for me is that in the last 4 months I have lost 50 lbs.Please give me some ideas.Oh yeah and I'm taking 2000 mg of metformin. Please feel free to send some baby dust my way.Thanks.

Angel, have u tried drinking lots of grape fruite juice, it helps with ewcm and also will bring on ovulation the month that i concived i drank 64 oz of it between cd 8 and 10 i ovulated cd 11, and became pregnant, also i took mucanix twice daily its worth a shot... same with u jocie i would give it a try...


Btw my lil prince turned into a princess so we are having a lil girl now i am super excited i have my target ultra sound on monday morning...

Tazyn, I had a feeling you were having a girl, I don't know why, but when you were first preg, and sooo sick, it just made me think: GIRL! My friend just had her baby 2 weeks ago, and had every preg symptom there is, and she had a girl...I guess that is why I thought your babe would be a girly too!! Congrats!!

Josie, I think ovulation predictor kits would be easiest for you!

Tazynsmommy - I'll try the grapefruit juice thanks :) I'm on CD32. About 3-5 days off from AF for me and noticed some pink on the toilet paper today :( I guess by now I really should not be surprised. Actually had alot of EWCM this month, so I thought that must have helped, I guess not... now i cant decide do I temp next cycle or just leave things again... I am using the progesterone cream, not going badly, I thought it would stop the spotting before AF but looks like not.. I have been VERY stressed about last week at work though, and apparantly stress depletes progesterone.. if that is true I'm not sure how I'll ever fall pregnant, I stress so easily! I guess that's why ppl seem to fall pregnant when they are on holidays, or stop trying...

Hi everyone I havent posted on here fore a while as i was very down, whilst on clomid my periods werent coming as soon as i came off them i came on in august and september, i am seeing a specialist next wednesday as my periods werent nervous im happy and nervous does this sound positive or what?

Hello people sorry i not been on for a while, hope everyone is okay?
I was wondering if anyone could tell me what signs of ovulations were, as i currently have a gewie/milky discharge when i wipe and was wondering if this is a sign of O. (sorry to be quite personal but you guys are the only people i can ask)??

Josie if the discharge is the consistency of egg whites (sometimes a little creamy colored) then yes this is a sign of o! Get down to business girl!

Oh thanks babymoon, bit gutted me and DH had big row last night so i stayed in spare room - therefore did not get chance to BD!!! Prob missed my opportunity yet AGAIN!!! I am thinking that because I was on CD 19 yesterday, that could be quite late to be O. This month i BD on CD 12, 14 AND 16, during mid month so im hoping i caught it in time. Can you O late on in your cycle, say CD20???

And what about angel - did AF arrive?
Im really fed up at the moment. My sister whos almost 4months pregnant sent me a pic of the scan and i was quite emotinal. I am really happy for her but she keeps texting me saying baby this baby that, I just dont think she realises what she's saying!!! She sent me a pic of the baby's cot today and I just wanted to scream. I do feel really bad but i cant help how i feel. I am happy for her i really am but i feel like saying STOP rubbing it in my face!! Sorry rant over lol x

Hi everyone i went to see my gynalogist yesterday im not pregnant and do have some good news! i should be able to concieve without clomid tablets now im having regular periods so no more clomid thank god! So hopefully shortly i will have a natural conception im ovulating this month on my own with too many eggs so wish me luck!

Have faith it does happen and clomid is my miracle for kickstarting my periods!

i'm on cd18 of my next cycle already, think i'm about to ovulate or just did, but since life is SO hectic at the moment, we are both just too tired to BD lately, not been happening much, trying to just relax and lose some weight to shorten my cycles...

How is everyone else out there? Any new pregnancies??
