Does Provera have side effects?? I have been nauseous all day, with the worst headache...

LAM - June 8th, 2011 5:55 PM

...and thanks babymoon, it's awesome to have support, no one I know gets it, they just keep warning me "you might have twins..." blah blah blah, I'm so tired of people who don't get it!!!

TazynsMommy - June 8th, 2011 5:58 PM

Lan, Hey girl, this past cycle i used provera to bring on af, and i had no symptoms at all i took the pill at bed time, i also started clomid 50 mg cd 1-5 that made me achy and neuasous.. but although im in the process of losing the baby using both drugs i got my first BFP this month after 21 months of trying, i also have pcos

TazynsMommy - June 8th, 2011 6:00 PM

LAM - June 8th, 2011 6:06 PM

Hi Tazynsmommy, sorry to hear about your news, I can't imagine why people would say "at least its just a few weeks, not full term" when you have been trying for so long, it still very upsetting! I hope you have positive news tomorrow!!!!!

Hopeafterstillbornangel – Your mother in law is seriously awful!!! Sorry to say that… but how do you put up with her! I will look into the at home sperm kit but here in SA we don’t get much and most places don’t like delivering here either…

Welcome Lam – Unfortunately b/c only suppresses the side effects of pcos, but never takes it away. Good luck for your first round of clomid! Provera can definitely give you headaches, I don’t know about the nausea, I was incredibly moody and paranoid on it.

TazynsMommy – I’m really hoping you are ok and its not tubal. People are so insensitive! Also your levels seem really normal to me… don’t let the doctors push you into doing anything unless you are ready and sure

Babymoon – how does your cousin even fall pregnant so many times… and after not wanting her other kids…some people make me so angry! What CD are you on?

Babymoon - June 9th, 2011 7:01 AM

Tazyn I've never been through that but I definately think that if you aren't comfortable with the docs decision then wait another day, see what bloods say then.

Angel, I'm 14 days since trigger tomorrow, so af should show in the next two days, I think I feel this way every month but seriously my boobs are beyond massive! I'm normally a 32f so no stranger to boobs but wow, busting out of my bra!!

Hope, how we you doing?

Jac, pls let us know how you are in the next few days, and enjoy the night out, if you can?!

Lam what cd are you, or provera day?

Babymoon - June 9th, 2011 7:05 AM

Oh and angel, I know!!! It makes me so angry with that cousin! 5 chances already that she has failed at, and yet she gets another go!!

jac1019 - June 9th, 2011 8:23 AM

Girls, I don't have much time to respond to you individually yet, but will later.

Took a test today to ease my anxiety- BFN. I am saddened, and nervous about my next step, as that was last round of clomid. I'll catch up more in a bit- have a ton of stuff to do.

LAM - June 9th, 2011 9:23 AM

I am on Provera day 4, I have bad cramps, and I am really hot??? My bbt is up and down ( Tues- 36.41, Wed - 36.38, today- 36.51) I'm blaming the hot weather and lack of a/c

TazynsMommy - June 9th, 2011 2:09 PM

Jac, i am sorry about the BFN maybe its too soon..

angel and baby, thank u guys so much thank u to all you ladies for the support..

and i do have good new's my hcg levels went up to 305 its not a tubal, their gunna watch my levels close but the baby has a good chance.. so thank all of u for ur thoughts and prayers

jac1019 - June 9th, 2011 2:20 PM

LAM- Welcome! I don't have PCOS, and therefore lack advice for you, but someone here does ;) This forum is awesome, with amazing, supportive women.

Hope- damn, your mother-in-law sounds awful. AWFUL! Don't ever let her have you feel that way. What a b...h! I am so sorry that you don't have the support you deserve.

Tazyns!!!!!!! Yay!!!!! I am soooo happy for you. I am sending positive vibes your way.

So, maybe I will test again tomorrow. I am pretty sure it's a BFN for definite. I woke up this morning at 2:45 a.m. full of anxiety, so I tested to calm myself. Still, I was awake until 5:00 am, and had to awake at 6:15. In addition to the BFN, I have awful lower back cramps and extremely sore breasts. All PMS signs for me.

HopeafterAStillbornAngel - June 9th, 2011 8:20 PM

Tayzyn'smommy - Yeay! Woo hoo! I'm so thrilled for you. See, it went alot like mine did. Doctors want to jump the gun with bad news all the time!
I'm so happy you can relax a little now and maybe you can get back to that BFP glow that you didn't have time to enjoy. You're going to do great!
Lam- Welcome. I think you'll find a place here where you can share and feel comfortable with all the lovely women and their support. I have had PCOS for 6 years now and can talk about it with you, if you'd like.
Angel- Yes, my MIL is a total nightmare. I have no idea how she came to have such a wonderful son! As per the SA kits, EArlypregnancytest dot kom has them and they ship really everywhere. Hope that helps! :)
Babymoom- That just plain stinks, about your cousin. Don't you just want to smack her silly.
Jac- Don't feel bad you didn't get your BFP yet. There is still time. So many of the signs of early pregnancy are the same as AF. They do that just to drive us crazy, I think! I just have this feeling that things are going to be much better this month. Hang in there, little sister!
I hope you are all well. I haven't been on much. Every night I feel sick, my boobs hurt and now the headaches are intense! Ugh! Did you guys feel yucky the whole month you did Clomid, or just the days you used it? I am cycle day 20 now. 9DPO (I think) and have tested every morning but it's a Big FAT negative! Did I mention Fat? lol Oh ladies, we are a raggedy bunch this week. We still rock! How you doing, Ashley?

TazynsMommy - June 9th, 2011 9:24 PM
