Hi there!! I am new to this forum and am hoping to get some answers to my questions. I have POCS and so I do not ovulate every month. My husabnd and I are wanting to have a baby and we have tried on our own for a year without success. I use to take pills before but after marriage I stopped. I visited my obgyn and she suggested clomid. I started my first round of clomid in mid june this year, june 14th tobe exact, on cd5-cd9. I went in for my regular u/s and also did a progestrone test. Well the test level was very low, it was 1. So doc put me on progestrone pills to raise the level and so I ended up with periods the end of the month. I believe I ovulated on cd21 and so had my period on cd 39. Well my doc put me on the 2nd round of clomid and as before i went regularly for the u/s and did my progestrone test. This time the test level was even less then last time. Its was 0.6. I strated the 2nd round of clomid on July 26 as my cd5 and was suppose to get my period by or end of august. Well its Sept 18th and no sign of periods. I have done several pregnancy tests and even a pregnancy blood test and they were negative. I am having funny symptoms but would like to know is it possible that I could be pregnant? I had a very low progestrone test level of 0.6, could be pregnant or maybe i just didn't ovulate? well according to my obgyn i might have ovulated on cycle on cd21. I spoted a little on 16th of Sept and nothing after that. But yes i have slight pain in my lower abdomin every now and then and dont know why. If anyone would help me with my situation it would be a great relief.

winter......... it sounds to me like you're still not ovulating. That progesterone level is too low to support a pregnancy. My first month on clomid i had a progesterone test and it was only a 2. So my NP said she didn't think i ovulated, even though with u/s it had showed mature follies. I've since had it drawn a couple other cycles, once being 9.6 and the other was 16.9. I think possibly if they gave you a trigger shot, that might help you drop the egg. Can anyone back me up on that?

I wish I could give you more information. This is my 2nd cycle on Clomid - and before clomid, my prog level was 5 and then last cycle, it was 36. So, I think you are not ovulating... can they up your dose on Clomid? I'm only on 50mg.

Sometimes the slight spotting and the cramps are signs in implantation so you never know...you could be pregnant. I'm not expert at this kind of thing. Just going by what I've read on other forums and websites. I'm on my 2nd cycle of Clomid. I haven't been going in for any testing....my doc just kind of threw me out there so I don't really know where I'm at. I'm just hoping it takes this time around and I can finally sigh with relief. Blessings and *baby dust* your way though!

Was going through the forum since I haven't been here in a while...been busy! But guess what?!?!? I'm pregnant! I took a test on last Thursday! I went to the nurse practitioner on my job cuz I was feeling kind of *blah*. She tested my urine cuz I thought I had a UTI....I was feeling all feverish and achy in that region. She tested me for pregnancy and VOILA it came out positive there too!! She prescribed me an antibiotic and prenatal vitamins! I feel great now! I cramp a little every now and then and I also get a little nauseous. I notice that I get headaches and feel *weird* when I don't eat so I'm trying to keep on top of eating...fresh veggies, fruit, applesauce, water, cranberry juice, apple juice....are loaded in my fridge! I'm so happy! I still cannot believe it sometimes!!! *babydust*
