Clomid for the first time...

Hello... I am 25 yrs old and i have PCOS. Originally the docs said that i would have a hard time concieving. My husband and i got married in Oct. So we decided to start trying right away. To our surprise i got pregnant in 2 months. Unfortunately i did have a miscarriage. I have had my period since then and now my doc said she would like me to take clomid on the 5th day for 5 days. I am worried to take this drug... I see that alot of you all have taken it. Any advice?

I am just about to start my 5th day now (im on 3) and my doc prescribed clomid as well. aparently it is something that is prescribed to everyone at first. I just wanted to wish you luck, and Im right there with you!

HI I am now on day 21 of my cycle on my first round of CHLOMID and have found no real side effects. I also have PCOS and that is why I am on CHLOMID as I have not had a period since last May!!

K ~ I am on cd15 and I just finished taking my second round of clomid. I had taken it in January and did get pg but had a m/c myself. My dr suspected PCOS but test came back negative. I just don't O or have regular periods. The only side effect I noticed on the clomid was my nipples were really sore for about 4 days right around O time. Like REALLY sore! ANYTHING brushed past them & it hurt like hell. Good luck!!! *~*~*~*~*~*~ Positive thoughts to you all.

Hi I took clomid to help me get pg after trying for 2yrs. I took my pills day 2 till day 6 and I am now 9+5wks pg after my first course. So take the pills and give it a go you've got nothing to loose. All the best and good luck.

I got pregnant my second round of clomid. The only side effect I really experienced was hot flashes. These happened after I finished my last pill until ovulation.
