Congrats! Readyfor#3. You will be in my prayers. I'm sure the line will be darker tomorrow. Was this your first roung of clomid?

Readyfor#3 - May 17

SMP, yes this was my first round. I am just so amazed that it was all that I needed. By the way, I just took another test about 20 minutes ago and it was positive again. And the line was so much darker this time. I will test again tomorrow morning to see if it will get even darker and eventually match the control line. I guess this is my way of knowing that there is more HCG in my system. Now I'm just waiting to get in to see a doctor and have a blood test done. I also want an early ultrasound as well to see how many babies are in there. Good luck to all.

Thats good news! This is my first cycle as well. I'm on cd16 and I haven't ov yet. At least I think, no sign on my monitor. I usually have ov pain but nothing for long periods so far. I've had occasional sharp pains on both of my ovaries. Did this happen to you while on clomid? Please send some luck this way.

hi ladies. so AF showed up today, which kind of sucks, but on the other hand it also means that I O'd this month. That is the 1st time in 2 years without having to take prometrium 1st. I felt hope so she is welcome this month.
Congrats Readyfor # 3, that's awesome! I will check in later.

smp, I got my positive opk on CD18 and ovulated on CD19. So I think you should jsut wait and see. Are you using the OPK's? I also felt a lot of shap pains in my ovaries when I was taking tha pills, and it got even worse once I stopped my 5th one. And it was really noticeble right around ovulation time. I could swear I felt two follicle ruptures on the left, and one on the right throughout a 12 hour period. But who knows, I guess I jsut have to wait and see now till I get the U/S. I'm wishing you the best of luck. Right now would be a good time for you to begin testing for O surge. I almost gave up testing and stopepd on the 16th, didn't test on 17th, and decided to test for the heck of it on the 18th. And got a very very strong positive opk. I'm so glad I tested. Otherwise I would have missed my most fertile days to BD. Sending lots of babydust your way. I hope you will O soon and begin the 2ww. We are all hoping to hear some awesome news from you :) Filledwithfaith, you're amazing at looking at the good side of things. I am happy for you that at least you know you O this month. That's deffinitely a great step in the right directions. What will you be doing this cycle?

filledwithfaith - May 18

I don't know what I will be doing. I see a differnet Dr on monday in Victoria, as I have tried 50, 100 and 150 mg of clomid (last being 150 that worked) but the side effects of the higher doses was too much. I felt like I was having OHSS and it was way to painful. I am wondering if having PCOS makes that part worse, as there are already cysts present when the follies start developing???
I hope that the Dr. will prescribe injections or letrozole on Monday to start right away, as I will be CD4 at that point. I hope that they don't say they have to run a whole bunch of tests first and then wait a cycle, as I will feel like this month and AF were a waste.
Do any of you know much about injections and IUI or letrozole? I have read some on the internet but still don't know which is the favored or how successful they are.
SMP - I didn't O until CD19, so hang in there. I think that if you start on CD5, the chances of O late are greater. Good night ladies and I will talk to you soon.

Thank you for all your help. I am using the clearblue fertility monitor and have had ov pain for the past few days off and on. A little more this morning, but the monitor did not show my peak. I'm hoping that I don't have another cyst. Sunday should be cd19 so I will just have to wait and see. Last month I had to take provera twice to make it come and the next option was taking bc pills which I did not want to do. Then I got lucky the day before the dr wanted to call me some in and AF came. My husband was so suprised to see me happy about AF. filledwithfaith I also have pcos and just found out about it in March. I'm still researching and learning more about it. Its just very frustrating because the dr said I don't fit the profile for pcos.

Just checking in. I am on CD15 and no sign of O on my rolex. I keep hoping I will O on my own but I'm not sure that I will this cycle. So be it. I hope everyone is doing well!

Hey Ladies! filledwithfaith...congratulations on AF and good luck with your RE appointment. My doctor referred me to an RE and things are shaking up I hope. The first month he put me 100mg clomid but I wasnt able to follow through with his visits as we were in St. Lucia on vacation (honeymoon). I seen him again this month and left me at 100mg (days 4 - 8) which I instructed to take at bedtime. I went in for an u/s on day 13 and day 14 he had DH give me an HCG shot to induce ovulation. The trouble is I only had eggs on my left side which is the damaged tube we dont know if its open or not. Although he said it was impossible to get pregnant through the right tube with left ovulation it would be more difficult. Oh and DH and I were instructed to bd the next three days but could only get together the night of day 14 because he drives a truck and was sent out...sucks huh. Anyway, RE said if we didnt concieve this month we were going to injectables to make my right side catch up with the left. Wish me luck, but I he seems to be more on top of things. For all of you ladies ttc with an OB, I strongly encourage you to make the move to an RE. I have felt so much more attention than with my OB. Oh and one other thing ladies, I normally have a 30 day cycle and do not ovulate until days 18/19. It was kind of nice to be induced so I didnt have to wonder everyday. The shot wasnt bad either. DH did a good job. I am beginning to believe again and it feels good to have found my lost hope. Wannanother...are you going to find out the gender? How excited you must be right now...Congratulations again!!! RRC and Share?? Whats the latest? I am 4 dpo. Where are you?

snoop - May 19

oops...I meant to type the RE said it WASNT impossible

Hi everyone. I am new to the Clomid thread. Here is my story. On 3rd round of Clomid (150mg cd3-10). Currently on cd 16. Had a cheical pregnancy in march w/ 100mg. These past few days I have been having this crazy pain where my righ ovary is. When I walk it is almost like I can feel it. I feel very bloated and tired. since we are on vacation till the 21st i have not been able to be monitored by my fertility office. I will be going inon tuesday to see if i AM close to oing if if I already did. i have tested w/opk sticks, but directions say surge line has to be darker than baseline. Mine has been very close the the color but not darker, so I have no idea what to think. If this month does not work we are going to start injections next month. It feels so good to be able to chat w/ others who know esxactly what you are gong through. THANKS

smp - May 20

Hi ladies. So its cd18 and I got the peak on the monitor today and then the severe left ovary pain started. It was unbareable at times and has lasted all day. I'm still having the pain but it feels more like a sore pain. I have had ov pain naturally and it has been pretty painful at times but nothing like this. I'm assuming this is normal with clomid and I think I read or heard something about it as well. The night before my right ovary was painful. Hopefully that helped increase my chances!

rrc - May 21

Congrats READY!!! I'm so excited for you! When will you see the doctor and have u/s? SMP-I'm glad you peaked. It's so frustrating waiting. It seems like that's all we do in the ttc game...wait. So now you get the 2ww. Fun. :) I read alot about pcos because they thought maybe I had that, too. But all the blood work said I don't. There's some really good books out about it. I found some on Amazon. FILLED-So tomorrow's the big day for the seeing the RE. That's exciting. I'm curious what they'll do since you tried the clomid route already. Keep us posted. WANTANOTHER- what does it mean that the placenta is low? And how does it move up? Congrats on quiting the senior management. That's gotta be a relief! Hope you had a fun graduation weekend with your son. SHARE, you and me are pretty close this cycle. You're just a couple days ahead. I'm cd14. No +opk yet. Last month was cd 14 or 15, can't remember. So I'm guesing it will be soon. How about you? Did your rolex show fertile today? SNOOP, that's cool your RE seems on top of things. I hope the shot does the trick for you this month. Hopefully the tubes won't mess you up. How soon will you start testing? JAL- Welcome! What is a cheical pregnancy? Hopefully on Tuesday they'll be able to give you some good info. Just keep bd'ing! :) Will this be your first baby? Anyhow, I hope everyone had a good weekend. SKYKENNELS, how are you?

sharerc - May 21

Hey ladies! I FINALLY got a Fertile Day 1 on my Rolex this morning. So, that should put my O time on Thursday, CD21. Late O again! But if my cycle is same this month, me going out of town on June 14th shouldn't mess things up at all. So, here's to hoping for at least a 34 day cycle!

rrc - May 21

Yea, Share, so the rolex is working even on a natural month! That's exciting! I got a +opk this morning, so I'm right on track with what I was on my last cycle of clomid. This time, however, I get to start the progesterone suppositories. What fun. Should I do those in the morning or evening? Any ideas ladies?

sharerc - May 21

RRC- you should do the suppositories at night. That is what mine say on the prescription directions. They want all the good stuff to have a chance to do what it is supposed to before it falls out. Are you doing the little pills or the liquid? I did the liquid and I just want to prepare you that it clumps up into a white messy goo and that is normal. Fun times, fun times!
