Hi all! And welcome to our fourth thread. We've had three pregnancies now and hopefully more to come. :) Hope everyone finds it.

rrc - May 15

Okay, so here's where I'm at for those that don't know... I'm on cd 8, taking my last clomid pill tonight. This is round two for me. No bad side effects this month. Not even hot flashes like last time... strange. This month I also will be starting progesterone suppositories. I'm hoping that does the trick for me. I've been off birth control since November of 2005. This will be our first baby. I'm 28 and DH is 31. So that's me in a nutshell for those that don't know me already. :) For everyone else, WANTANOTHER, SNOOP, SHARE, FILLEDWITHFAITH, SKYKENNELS, READY... Hope you all find this new thread!

Hi rrc! Glad to see you here. I hope the rest of the girls will find this thread! So I am 7DPO today. I will begin testing in two or three days. I know it might be too soon, but I just want to see what day it would turn positive :) Well, that's if it does. So please keep me in your prayers. I am very excited but it seems like time is draaaaaging when you are waiting to test. Hope to see the rest of the girls here very soon! Baby dust to all!!!!

thought id join in. first cycle of clomid. cd21 and 4dpo. i have a question... does clomid make ur cycles longer or shorter or do they stay the same? as i ov'ed earlier than normal xx good luck all xx

wantanotheraftertr - May 15

wishing I o'd earlier with clomid. I took it 1 cycle and got pregnant. It ended at 5 weeks with a m/c. I had a huge cyst so I was unable to take clomid the next cycle. I got pregnant again right away on the next cycle and am currently 9 weeks. I had a u/s at week 7 and am going for another tomorrow. It's so reassuring to see the babys heartheat I can't wait for tomorrow I have had a very stressful week at work and am praying this baby is ok. Ready I did not get a + till 11DPO the first time and 12 with this one. I did use the dollar store brand and got a very faint line. It never seemed to get darker. I did a blood test with the first faint line so I knew it was confirmed but trying to feel more + tested on the off days for blood iut never got darker so any faint line I would take as a +. Good luck! RRc good luck with the progesterone. I use it as a suppository in the morning as taking it orally made me feel awful. I take my other pills vitamins baby asprin folic acid all at night now. Wow no more morning sickness. The progesterone at night I take orally as I was concerned about intercourse taking it the other way! Hope all are well and babydust to all! Sky hows it going?

Hi Ladies. This is my first cycle with taking clomid on days 5 -10. I was wondering how quickly did you guys ovulate. I am on cd14 and my ov monitor showed high fertility as of yesterday but know peak yet. I would really like to hear from you guys.

smp - May 15

oops I meant to say no peak yet.

sharerc - May 15

Hey ladies! I'm glad you started a new thread. The other was getting too long and outdated (Feb). I'm on CD11. This month I am sitting out any medications because of a rather large cyst on my right ovary. We are trying naturally though. I still haven't seen a fertile day on my rolex yet. Maybe tomorrow? I do O late so I'm really not expecting to see a fertile day until CD14. So next month if this month doesn't work, I will start follistim shots with IUI. Wishing- clomid made my cycles longer by 5 to 9 days. It was a total drag and I'm so glad to be done with the clomid. Of course, follistim could be just as bad.

rrc - May 15

Welcome to the newcomers! WISHING, I think clomid may make the cycle longer for some. For me it was 32 days, and normally I'm 28-30, so I guess it was a little longer. So you're just a little ways behind Ready! You two could be our next BFPs! SMP, I o'd on cd14 last time. Right now I'm cd9 so we'll see this month. I'll start the opks in a couple days. It seems like it varies from person to person, though. And also may be dependant on what days you take the clomid. It seems like you should be close now. What dose are you on? READY, I hope this is your month! I can't wait for you to start testing! The 2ww is the pits, huh? WANTANOTHER, sorry works been stressful. Is it the managing part, or the girls you work with? How many people work at your salon? Let us know how the u/s goes. That's gotta be so exciting! SHARE, you o'd really late last month, right? I can't remember what the day was, but I remember thinking it was pretty late. So don't give up yet. That rolex will kick in soon. Anyhow, hope you all have a good afternoon!

the dr said she wanted to start me off on a low dosage. I am taking 50mg, not really sure if that is a low dosage or not. I was also wondering if any of your drs asked for you to follow up with him/her if clomid didn't work for you the first cycle?

filledwithfaith - May 15

Hi everyone, I feel like I have been neglectful of everyone although please know it is not intentional.
I received news from my Dr. that he thinks I may have O'd this month. My serum test on CD23 was at 14, which he said was up but would indicate none. When I explained that I thought if I did it probably wasn't until CD18-19, he told me to go get another test on CD26. My result was 19 at that time, so he thinks it is a possibility. Due to all the problems with clomid though, he still wants to refer me on to the RE. I guess I am in the 2WW, to see if AF comes and small hope of BFP

Readyfor#3 - May 16

filledwithfaith, good luck to you! It might be small chance, but it's still a chance! :) Hoping only the best for you!

Hello all. I had my 2nd u/s today. Baby is growing very well and I am 91/2 weeks I was told to set up my first ob visit and also will have another u/s on the 30th. He said that the placenta was sitting kind of low right now but thinks it will move up. I am a little nervous about that. RRC I only have 3 employees right now and actually resigned from senior manager to help eleviate some stress. I hope now that I have some time off things will get better. I don't have to go back to work till Tuesday! Sons graduation will keep me plenty busy though. Filled good luck and will pray for a BFP! Prayers for everyone to get a BFP!

filledwithfaith - May 17

thanks for your positive thoughts everyone. Wantanother, it is so nice to hear from ladies that are experiencing the miracle we all all hoping for. My thoughts are with you.RRC, Readyfor #3, wishingangel, smp, sharec, hoping for a BFP for all of you too this month. It is still up in the air if I actually O'd this month and I guess I will get more answers and questions on Monday when I see the RE. I am wondering what the next option wil probably be in that Clomid did not work well for me, if at all? Do you ladies think they will suggest Femera/Letrozole or go right into injections?
I have mixed feelings in that it may be that I am not producing enough LH to O, not that the follies aren't developing.
Anyways, I guess that's why they're the Dr's, although I find that sometimes the women on this thread are more informed and if not, willing to discuss in length things that are options......

smp - May 17

filledwithfaith - I wish I had some answers for you. I look for some hope and answers on these threads as well. wantanotheraftertr- congratulations, good to hear the news and know what is going on.

Readyfor#3 - May 17

Hey ladies. I tested this morning and got a BFP. But I am still hesitant till I test again tomorow morning to see if the line gets a bit darker. I'm only 9dpo, so that's why the line was so light. But non the less, it was defnitely there! :) Please keep me in your prayers so this little bean stays sticky.

smp - May 17

Congrats! Readyfor#3. You will be in my prayers. I'm sure the line will be darker tomorrow. Was this your first roung of clomid?
