how many days does one ovulate? and I also was wondering is it possible to get pregnant the days leading up to your period or is it unlikely. I know that inorder to get pregnant your best chances are to have sex on your fertile days, but what if your ovulation date has passed and your between the time when your period starts?

your ovulation days themselves are around 14 days before your next period if you try to have sex around thatdate it will increase your chances significantly
