Can I still get pregnant?

I have been on the Depo Provera for 5 years. I have been off the Depo for over 6 months now. I have not yet had a real period only light spotting for 2 days. My husband and I really want a baby. Has anyone gotten pregnant after coming off birth control without getting a period? Please help?
