Danielle, you could see a Reproductive Endecronologist after a year of trying, but since you are so young, you could wait another 6 months or so. Are you temping or doing OPK's to figure out when you are ovulating? Some girls on my thread have read a book which I believe is called Taking Charge of your Fertility. It will educate you about your body and how to recognize your most fertile days. Also has your boyfriend had a semen analysis to see if may be he is the problem? Good luck.

do you use ovulation tests to see when and if you are ovulating?you can also chart you bbt (basal body temp) with a special thermometer to see if you are ovulating. do you have regular cycles? at your age they will probably suggest that you wait awhile before you come in. have dh do a sperm analysis to rule him out. the testing they do on women is more invasive and more expensive than the sperm analysis is so i would suggest that before you have any testing done. also the man on thop is "supposed" to be the best position when you are trying to conceive. read the book taking charge of your fertility. from what i hear it is a good book to help you get to know your body. also have your progesterone checked 7 days after you think that you ovulate to make sure that you are actually ovulating. this is a simple blood test. that is all i can think of right now. good luck

Hi, I know a young couple and it took them 2 years to get pregnant, both healthy, everything. If you have regular cycle just count 11 days from your first day of period. that's when you should start to have sex every day at least for 4 days. My doc told me, you can get pregnant only during like 24 hours while you ovulate, it is a very short period of time. once you miss it, you have to wait another month. Try not to stress, and do not stress your partner. Stress has a big effect on both of you. good luck and lots of love making.
