Hi All, I've been on and of this community for the last 4.5 years as dh & I ttc. Here is our story in as brief as I can make it.
5 failed IUIs, 1 failed IVF .
This year a new RE recommended laproscopic exploratory surgery to confirm endometriosis, check out the fibroids (the biggest one ~2cm was right at the fundus) that were seen on u/s and hysteroscopy to check out the state of my uterus. I do not have any major symptoms of either except spotting for 5 days leading up to AF.
Surgery revealed endo and the fibroid at the fundus was contorting my uterus which was most likely preventing implantation. Had an abdominal myomectomy in the Summer where they removed 4 fibroids (largest was 2cm). There are still a few small ones but nothing of any concern.
When back to the clinic to repeat a Sono in anticipation of IVF. Blood work numbers were not great at the time and Sono revealed a Polyp! Had the Polyp removed Nov 22/10. LMP began 08/10. The good thing is that this cycle I had a bit of spotting after the polyp was removed and then around 10 post ovulation but NONE leading up to expected AF.
AF is now 5 days late and both HPTs have been negative. A little freaked out! Through all the poking and prodding I've had in the last 6 months, AF was always on time +/- 2 days.
The clinic is closed for the holidays so I can't even just pop in for the blood test. DH wants me to wait till the new year. the crazy thing is I'm not thinking "OMG I could be pregnant", I'm thinking "OMFG what is wrong now! " - Carolyn
