best time to ovulate

Hi everyone!
I'm new to this site so sorry if people have already discussed this kind of thing before.
Basically, my story goes like this.....
Been with my boyfriend (now Fiance) for 3 years. We met when i was 17 and i fell pregnant pretty much straight away. We were both terrified but i started to become really protective, not lifting heavy things, stopped smoking etc. I told my mum and the decision was pretty much taken out of my hands, i was booked in for an abortion and when i look back now i don't think i knew what day it was. Ever since then i've coped with mild depression and have never got over it. All my friends have had babies and i'm happy for them but can't help but feel jealous.
I have pretty much been trying to get pregnant ever since and calculating when i'm ovulating is part of my every day life nowadays. The confusing thing is, when i was pregnant the first time round, i kept a diary. After looking back at it i realised that my last period was on the 8th of March, i had sex pretty much every day on the days straight afterwards and starting getting the symptoms right away then found out i was pregnant 3 weeks after my last period.
Now when i go on these ovulation calenders it says to have sex in the middle of your period which obviously doesn't work for me.
I have PCOS which i found out about 6 months ago. I'm terrified that i'll never be able to get pregnant again and my family/friends don't seem to understand because "i'm only 20".

Sorry about the essay!!! but does anybody have similiar circumstances i'm going out of my mind!

The time you ovulate is best found out individually by monitoring your temperature. Fertility frienddot com is the best explaination. Having sex in the middle of your period won't work. You need to figure out your ovulation and then BD two days before and the day of your ovulation. You can also purchase ovulation predictor kits (OPK) that detect the LH surge before you actually ovulate. You can get them almost anywhere. On average, but everyone is different women usually ovulate about 14 days before their period. Believe me everyone is different so you will have to figure out what you are. You are also dealing with PCOS which gives you another issue to deal with. I (Thankfully) do not have this issue so I can't help much there. Good luck. Ellie
