Hello, my best friend just found out that she has 3 percent chance to conceive with invitro or artificial insemination because her FSH is really high . She is 34 but Dr. said her body is like a 40 something year old. She is going for second opinion in March. Anyone ever experience anything like this? Thanks alot and best of luck to you all.

I have not personally experienced anything like this, but I have read that a high FSH is an indicator of poor egg quality. That would explain the dr's comment about it being like a 40-something year old, because egg quality drops with age. Normal level for FSH is under 10. I think her going for a second opinion is the right route to take.
