That had happen to me before. My cycle is 33 days. But one time, it was 49 days! I sure thought that I pg but I wasn't. I took the test about three times and they were all negative. Do you chart your BBT? If you do and if your temp stay up for more than 18 days. Then you probably pg. Well, I hope you will get the positive result for next test!

To Pooh: I had to take Provera to get my last period. I hope this one comes before I have to take it again (if I'm not pg). I don't chart my BBT. I never really understood how that works. How long have you been trying? My DH and I have both been tested and we are fine...I had an HSG and he had a sperm analysis. I wonder if I am ovulating....doctor didn't test that. Do you think that is something I need to get tested??

Mind if I join you? I'm waiting for af or BFP! An HPT on Monday said faint +++ but then the next one said negative. I'm about 11 dpo. I've had mild abdominal cramping for the last 3 days, but no af. I'm going to retest on the 12th if I haven't started af by then. Good luck and hope both of us get a BFP! ***BABY DUST*** to you! :)

I'm guessing mine is just late. How old are you? I'm 24 and it feels like I have been trying to get pg forever!! I'm thinking of asking my Dr. for Clomid. Are you on anything to help??

Lindsey, I didn't see your post as I was posting at the same time. I, also, had to take Provera last month to get an af because I had no af after coming off of BC beginning of May. How long have you been ttc and did you just come off of BC? You may want to try using OPKs. I thought they were a load of crap until I actually got a +++ from one last month. They help make the guess work a little easier. Good luck! ***BABY DUST***

Sorry! Once, again, didn't see your post! LOL! I'm almost 24 and have been ttc since May. I've had really irregular afs pre-BC and, of course no af after BC until Provera. Did that make you crazy moody? It did to me! I hated that stuff!! My DH called me an emotional trainwreck that week! LOL! Now my doctor has told me that if I don't get af or it is crazy, again, he's putting me on fertility drugs. Guess he just figures no wasting time if it's going to take forever. If I have to be on them, I have a feeling it will be Clomid. Pretty common fertility drug these days. But hopefully I'll get a BFP instead! ***BABY DUST***

Anna, I came off BC in November of last year and periods have been very late and I skipped 2 months before I got Provera to start again. TTC since then. I did try the OPK, but I never could tell if I had a positive one or not. Maybe I need to try them again. I'm really considering Clomid, though. What do you think??

Were you pretty regular before? If you were, it may just be taking your body a little bit of time to figure out what it's supposed to do since it doesn't have the BC to do all the work anymore. As far as the Clomid goes, I think that if you were regular before, then you may want to wait another month or so before going onto fertility drugs just to see if the Provera does the job. Also, it may take more than one round of Provera to kick your cycles back into gear. If you were irregular before, then I say go for it. You may need the Clomid to ovulate if you aren't right now. The only downside to that is that your doctor may want you to wait the full year of ttc before considering fertility drugs.

Anna, I'm not gonna test for awhile bc I dont want to get a BFN. I want to get on Clomid because I'm sick of waiting. It seems like everyone I know is pg and I keep on waiting. Where are you from??

Well, my dr. knows we have been trying for 10 months and thats almost a year. I was always a week or two off before BC but I always had a period every month. She might have to give me another round of Provera to start again.

I'm from the east coast around D.C. Where about do you live? I know what you mean about everyone getting PG! I know of, atleast, three close people who are PG and some are immediate family who weren't even trying and didn't want a baby!! I, also, know several women who have just had their babies recently. How frustrating! And I totally understand your feelings about getting on Clomid.

I'm from Louisiana. I think I'm gonna call my Dr. if my period doesn't start again and try to get on it. I'm a teacher and this is the perfect time for me to get pg because I would have it right when school gets out. How many dpo should you wait to test?

Typically, you O about 14 days before the start of your period. I've read that pregnancy is detectable about 12-14 days after conception. Sometimes it takes a little longer if your hCG level isn't high enough. So if you think you might have ovulated sometime, just add on about 14 days to that day and test then. I'm, also, a teacher and am hoping for a Spring or early Summer baby. Then I have all Summer to relax and focus on being a mommy!

Lindsey, any good news from your way? I hope you got the bfp you were hoping for! Have you taken anymore tests or seen your md? I'm still waiting and haven't gotten my af.
