Hi Ladies, Hang in there.....Liz, my bloodtest is Wed. 10/5, so we may be in this at the same time. My first IUI failed and Nov. will be our 2nd year ttc. This month I am on follistim x 5, then bloodtest (Wed), IUI scheduled potentially for 10/9 and 10/10 depending on levels. Prayers to all!

Thanks for the good wishes Christy. I tested again today and the hpt was positive again, my period is due tomorrow. I am still wondering if it could be a false positive. The line looks a little darker and it showed up faster today. I have been having cramps the last few days again like the week after IUI. Hope you feel better too.

Hi Ijay - sorry to hear about the negative test. I had my 2nd IUI on 9/24, 1 big follicle (26mm) and 2 around 17-18 mm. Probably will test this weekend sometime. Praying for you and everyone.

Hey all - AF came for me yesterday and my dr. is out of town during IUI time this month so it looks like Nov. for me. Good luck with the blood test Becca - let us know when you find out the result! Baby dust to the rest!

can you start a new thread? Ive been trying to read this thread but my computer keeps freezing its so long. Finally today i got into it but it took about five minutes. I too am doing iuis and am wondering what happens after.

Well I took a hpt this morning and it was positive. The line was pretty faint so I made my husband look at it just to make sure I wasn't seeing things. The longer the test sat out the darker the line got so it was definitely positive. I am trying not to get my hopes up yet as I am worried it may be a false positive. I had my IUI on 9/21, Ovidrel shot on 9/19, so I'm not sure if that could still be in my system or not. Today is day 30 so I am a bit late but I tend to be all over the board with cycle length. Tomorrow morning I am going to take a blood test and hopefully will know for sure by tomorrow afternoon. I will say this is the first positive symbol I have ever gotten on a test, whether it be an opk or hpt. It is a nice feeling. Keeping my fingers crossed for everyone!

Coll, I had a positive urine test on day 14 after my Ovidrel shot, and when I called the doctor's office that day, I asked the nurse if the Ovidrel could still be in my system and cause a false positive. She said no, since it had been 14 days, and that I was probably pregnant. She was right...it was later confirmed by a blood test. What dosage of Ovidrel did you have? Mine was 250. Good luck!

Thanks Judi, that makes me feel a lot better. You know, as stupid as this sounds, I'm not sure what my ovidrel dosage was? I was doing Gonal F as well and between all the injections I can't remember. It was only one prefilled suringe full but I'm not sure if that helps at all. With the Gonal F I was doing a suringe and a half. Nice measuring technique huh? LOL Today was day 15 after my shot so hopefully you are right and I am actually pregnant! I'm just reall scared to believe it just yet.

Coll, I totally understand how you feel. After 3 1/2 years of disappointment, I felt the same way when I saw the positive. We were so afraid to believe that it was real. When I showed the test to my husband, my hand was shaking so much that I nearly dropped it. I took 3 tests that day, and then 2 more over the next 2 days. (We were out of town so I couldn't go for my blood test until a few days later.) My Ovidrel injection was one prefilled syringe as well, so we may have had the same dosage. I will keep my fingers crossed for you!!

Congratulations to all those who are getting positive hpts....will keep my fingers crossed for you for positive blood tests as well. My blood test results was negative, so I stopped taking my progesterone supplements and AF came today. I am sad that my third IUI did not work even though I had a good follicle and good sperm! Anyway, I am meeting with my doctor today to see what the next course is. I want to switch to injectibles, but I am not sure whether she will do this or refer me to a fertility clinic. I would like to take a break this month before starting injectibles, but that all depends on how things go today. Lots of baby dust to you Becca. As for all the rest, hang in there and be strong!

I'm so sorry Mel. This past month was my first with injectibles and it made a huge difference in follicle size for me. I told my husband I think I have finally figured out the correct fertility coctail. Only took a year and a half but hopefully this was the successful combination. Congratulations Judi!

Christy and Liz, this is Amy, now AmyR as there are 2 of us now... I took 50 mgs of Clomid on days 3-7 now today is day 10 for me, and I start with the OPK. I think that I will be going on Sat or Sun the 8th or 9th for IUI... How are you both doing?? I did read some of what you both have written. Fill me in. Good luck to everyone TTC... For the people on injectibles and IUI, are you going to a endocrinologist or just your regular gynae? Also, how often are you begin monitored for your follicles?
