I have to do my hpt test on 26th but i tested on 23rd with a negative result.I donot know what it really means but no signs of period yet.I am really depressed.I think it is early but still in hope that i will see +++ on 26th.I wish us all luck.

Ashley - May 24th, 2005 11:23 AM

Thanks Macaron for your encouragement! I had another low temperature today. I have been doing this long enough to know that means AF is coming. I will take a test Thursday morning just to make sure. I don't know if any of you are taking your waking basal body temperature, but that can sometimes be a predictor of pregnancy. If your temp. stays high then you are probably pregnant if it starts to go down then your AF is more than likely coming. Most of you probably already know that! Rama-I am testing on the same day as you! I hope you get a positive result:-)

natasha - May 24th, 2005 12:41 PM

Rama could you keep us posted if you get a ++++. I test saturday, but i try testing today and it was a BPN. My period feel like it want to come, i hope it don't. My insurance only come iui three times in a life time, so i pray every night i would get pregnant. Good luck.

Hi everybody!! I've been reading your stories and would like to share my own. I had my second IUI on May 19th.. I don't feel many symptoms, no sore breasts and very mild cramps occansionally.. How early do symptoms show and when should I take a hpt??

Tracy - May 24th, 2005 3:59 PM

I have been reading over all of the stories and am really amazed how many IUIs. To share, I had my first DI (donor insemination) May 13th, no sperm count whatsoever. Anyway, used clomid so I had two follicles that were released with HCG. First few days major cramping along with extremely sore bbs. Well on day 10, there it was, my best friend, AF. That was one of the most difficult times I had to go thru. Hope this helps someone.

Jen - May 24th, 2005 11:51 PM

I am so sorry to hear that Tracy. What a bummer. Big Time. I heard some good advice for women undergoing IUI's (for next time_. It said not to analyze the symptoms so much but to focus more on the 'end product'- the child. And it also said to take on the reasoning that we have done everything that WE could do to give the best chance of conception, as well as the best environment for implantion and the rest is faith and prayerfulness...And to keep trying. But I do hope that none of us have to keep trying very long...at all! I test on the 30th to see if i am pregnant. I am taking it easy breezy. It is, though, as i have said before the hardest wait ever, this 2WW. :) :) :)

hi,

I had my blood tests, one 2 days ago and hcg level was 38. Today second time and now its 60. Dr told me that I am likely to loose it as it is not growing as fast as it should be. Normal pregnancy should produce around 200~300 hcg level at this point. He said there is still a chance, so we will monitor it, but not to lift up my hope to much. I am very very very sad.

But I will do my prayer and that would include all of you girls!!!!

Tracy - May 25th, 2005 7:30 AM

Jen, thanks for your words of wisdom. You know how it is your first time, you try to analyze every little pain, cramp and so on. Having to do DI (more expensive), you hope and pray as hard as you can, time is limited and finances (no insurance coverage). Lots of luck to you, things are sounding promising. To everyone else, wishing you all positive results.

Ashley - May 25th, 2005 9:17 AM

Macaron-I am so sorry....... I will be praying for you. I know this must be so hard for you. Keep us posted.

Rama - May 25th, 2005 9:52 AM

I have do the test tomorrow, macron god has brought u this far he sure will take care and u will hold ur baby 9 months from now.ashley keep posted with ur result .hoping we both see a ++++ tomorrow.

macaron - May 25th, 2005 10:16 AM

Thank you Rama and Ashley, Yes, I will try to keep my hopes up a bit. Afterall, Dr just tells me the statistical fact, but that does not mean that it is going to be miscarriage for sure. I think stress is very bad for anything we are trying. Let's keep our spirit up! My prayers are with you. If anyone knows any good tip for lifting up your spirit when you are prone to negative thoughts, let us know!
Hope you two will get ++++++++results soon!

Ashley - May 25th, 2005 10:28 AM

Macaron-I have been writing everything down each night that I am thankful for......even small things like my husband left me a sweet message today or the weather was perfect. I usually end up with a long list in my journal! I then thank God for all of these blessings. This really helps me to be content whatever my circumstance and it is fun to look back on. Hope that helps you! Oh and I also remind myself that God's timing and plan is perfect and that my patience is not:-)

Ashley - May 25th, 2005 2:54 PM

Well, I just got AF so we will try IUI again in a couple of months. I think I am going to take this month off:-) I wish you all positive results!

Natasha - May 25th, 2005 3:47 PM

macaron - May 25th, 2005 4:32 PM

Ashley, thank you so much for your nice tip! That is such a great thing to do. I admire you for a great attitude in the face of the challenge. And I am sorry that this time wasn't your time...I truly feel for you. No matter how hard it is, I agree that God will choose the perfect time for you in the near future. Take it easy, and eat lots of healthy food, keep exercising, and enjoy the rest. You have given me a lot of correage, and you will be in the list of things I am thankful for! (I will start doing that tomorrow...it is 4 int he morning here, but I am going back to bed...).
Natasha, thank you for your concern. My breast is still soar, everything seems like still here. Tempreture high, feeling tired, etc. etc...I hope that means positive. I wish you all the best luck in what you are trying and may God be with you. And lots of baby dust to all the girls trying to conceive around the world!
