Does anyone know what the sperm count needs to be to have a good chance of getting pregnant with IUI and Clomid? Congrats, Shawne, throw some baby dust my way :o) |

AF came on Sunday, 12 days post IUI. I was sad, again. This was our second try. Called my doctor today and am going in for a dye test (is this the same as an HSG) next Monday. We're using frozen donor sperm, as my husband's count is zero. He's a wonderful man, and super-okay with the idea...he wants me to be a mom as much as I do! I was reading about everyone's experiences with these tests, and how pregnancy seems to follow the next try. I hope I can be as lucky! I'm worried, though. Does it hurt? They told me to take 800mg of ibuprofen prior to the procedure. This will be our third try with IUI and donor sperm, so I hope the third time is a charm. Please know that, with all of our dedication to making a family, God will see that we become mothers. I'm praying for all of us. |

MJ, Sorry about AF. Yes the dye test is the same as the HSG. Do you know if yours will be oil based or water based? I was told oil works better. I have had the procedure done twice, 2 years ago.... which was successful and now am blessed with my 18month old. I had another HSG last month. The first time was very painful, and the 2nd time it didn't hurt at all. During the procedure I just kept repeating in my head.... I want a baby. That seemed to help me get thru it. Jane- Did you get pregnant after your HSG? I hope this works for me. Thanks for the kind words about AF. The first cycle failed, and I broke down. I was more prepared to handle it this time. I just hope the third time, after the HSG, is the charm! I think I'll take your advice and just think of the baby I'm doing all this for! That's what's getting us all through this, right? |

Well friends, my husband and I are taking a break from medications, iuis, and doctors for awhile but i just went to the restroom and dicovered what could be implantation spotting! I am about 2 weeks from my cycle and would not know what to think if this is what i think it is! Please ladies, is it possible or do you think my AF has decided to come early. I am not cramping or anything so I don't know what to think. |
