I am having such a hard time waiting! This is my 1st IUI (with donor), and I test 6/23. From reading past posts, I'm not going to test early (but I want to). What symptoms have others experienced on day 8 of the 2ww? How do others deal with the wait? It's consuming me! Thanks for any help!

I had my first IUI last Thursday 6/9 and Friday 6/10. I have had cramping pretty much all week. my bbs are swollen but not hurting. I had one follie and hubby's sperm were fine and high count. Here's to hoping

I'm off for the summer so the waiting is hard, but I am finding hobbies here and there. Joined an agility class with my dog and husband, watching movies, taking walks, etc..

I'm on day 25 of my cycle, and feeling crampy since yesterday...does this mean anything? I don't test until 6/23, and I think I might go nuts before that!

After two attempts with IUI, I seem to be crampy and have sore breasts the first week after the IUI, but then it goes away. I think that is the HCG in my symptom which makes since because it is a pregnancy hormone. I am on day 24 of my cycle. I should test on Sunday, but I tested early and it has been negative both times. I told myself that I was not going to test again until Sunday. We will see:-) I actually called my girlfriend that just got pregnant with IUI. She said that she had no symptoms at all in regards to sore breasts and cramping. She did say that she was acting a little crazy so she told me not to focus so much on my symptoms. I know that is so hard when you really want to be pregnant more than anything else. Hope this helps!

That does help a little. I'm staying positive, but realistic. The waiting is the hardest thing, though. I'm taking it one day at a time, which is all you really can do. I don't think I'm going to test early, as I've read so many other experiences when others have tested early and shouldn't have. I'll do better with "no news is good news," and wait until Thursday!

Hi all, I am sooooo happy to have found this site. We have been ttc for 1 1/2 years now and we are on our 3rd iui. We had back to back iui's on June 10th and 11th. I am in my 2WW period and am a bit anxious but positive cause and many people on this board have said previously, it will happen when God wants it to. We are more than blessed. With that said, I have cramps, somewhat like period cramps. When I tingle I feel sharp pains in my lower belly. My breast are somewhat sore. Is this normal? Can anyone tell me if they are having similar symptoms? baby dust to all :-)

hi, it's me again. Anyway, today is my first day of af and i'll be seeing my gynae tomorrow and will be starting the injectables and then iui. I feel both anxious and excited but worried that i may not ovulate since i did not with clomid. Anyone does not ovulate even with injectables??

This is day 2 of my 2nd iui and I feel different than the last one this one I feel nothing. No cramping , no hurting breasts, nothing. I sound like I'm complaining because I have no pains. Good luck to all! I love just checking in each day and reading everyone elses business. I am praying for everyone!

Hi all,
Hope everything is going well with you all.
As for me, it may be one of the worst day of my life, as i found out that the fetus is probably dead inside me. I am about 6 and a half weeks pregnant, but Dr couldn't find heat beat. We will wait for a few days to confirm it, and will probably get an operation to clean out. I am quite sad, but mostly, I don't know what to feel...I started thinking about delivery and the name of the baby, etc etc...

Sorry for giving you bad news, which won't help you...But I truly truly wish you all best of luck and healthy pregnancy to come.

Macaron-My heart is so heavy for you right now. I am so sorry. Thanks for letting us know so we can pray for you.

marea - June 17th, 2005 2:52 PM

Thank you so much - it's so hard to wait. This is my first time however and I'm sure I'll get used to the wait. I wish I just knew why i had cramps. I'm going to assume im not pregnant since this was my first IUI - can't imagine being so lucky that it worked on the first try.

Monica - June 17th, 2005 6:08 PM

Macaron, I am so sorry....I have been routing for you and your family to be since I discovered this thread. I will say a very deep prayer for you tonight. Ashley said it, my heart feels heavy....
