Hi, everyone. I love coming in this 'room'. We can all relate. It's great. Well, i have a little spotting. I am wondering if AF is coming full force tommorow. I am okay though. Totally. We shall wait and see. It's still only my first IUI. It is a journey. This is just part of it. :)

susana - May 26th, 2005 11:25 PM

Hi everyone.I had my 2 IUI on 5/20 and I'm scared because I got pregnant from my 1IUI, but I lost the baby. I also have PCOS and I'm 31 yrs old. My breasts are sore I have little cramping, I'm also on progesterone but suppositories. I'm glad this chat room is open for us to discuss our fears. Lots of baby dust to everyone.

Hi everyone, after 3 days working, I am back home. My af came on the 1st day when I was away, felt so awful, when I talked to my best friend on that day, I couldn't help to have tears in my eyes. All the symtoms I tried so hard to feel confused me and made me stressed a lot, especially could sleep very well in that 2 weeks. Anyway I am back to normal now, sleep well and do a lot of exercises. I won't think about what was wrong that made me not pregnant, I think God knows when is my time and he already planned for me. My overall reactions after IUI were - little cramp, no big breasts, tired, hungry, sensitive nipples, getting a bit fatter and dizzy. These symtoms can be anything, so please don't focus so much on the symtoms like me, otherwise you will not sleep very well. I really hope you girls will have a ++++ result. God blessed.

Becky,
So sorry to hear your af came. And I admire your positive attitude. Yes, God knows when is the best time for us and we will all get there sooner or later. Continue your healthy life style, and keep building a good baby house in your body!!!! Lots of baby dust for your next cycle!!!

macaron - May 27th, 2005 4:55 AM

susana,
I understand your feeling, but don't fall into your fear. Keep your positive thoughts, that would help! I am going through exactly what you did the last time...first IUI and probably loosing it....low hCG level, but I haven't given up on it just yet.
You are getting all the good symptom, so this really might be your time! Lots of baby dust to you.

Jen,
Your attitude is great. I wish I were like you. It may be a inplantation spotting, so let's hope your af is not comning in full force! Lots of sticky baby dust to you!

Becky, I am sorry to hear that AF came to visit. No matter how much we tell her to stay away, she continues to bother us. I had my first IUI on 5/12 and AF is due today or tomorrow. I took a hpt this morning and it was of course negative, as always. I did go in to the lab for bloodwork, but I probably won't hear anything until Tuesday and by then AF will probably be here. I am driving myself crazy!! Yesterday when I first got to work, I had a dizzy spell and had to sit down and grabbed onto a table. It is making my mind go a thousand miles a minute wondering if there is a possibility.... My husband says I want it so much I am imagining things. I think he is trying to keep hopes down so we won't be disappointed. I keep wondering, what if. But of course, the hpt was negative to tell me As if it could really happen. Well, at least by this time next week I should know for sure. Good luck to all!!

natasha - May 27th, 2005 3:05 PM

Thanks alot Rama, but it don't feel like it's good news, i need to stop being ----and think +++. I go tomorrow to get another blood test to see if my level are going up, i hope so. My stomach is cramping so bad, but my breast is not sore anymore Saturday will be day 14, so i will see if it is really good news or not. Thanks again and i hope everything works out for you

I went for blood work today. Since I work at the hospital I could pull up my results. Problem is I don't understand them... And the doctor's office hasn't called. There are 2 number sections, one has a "<2"... That can't be good. That makes my heart sink. <2 is the same as zero. I don't know what the other number is. Why am I obsessing so much about this!! I know the doctor's office isn't going to call until Tuesday.....

Aprilsmile - May 27th, 2005 4:25 PM

Change it to Aprilfrown... Found a website.. Looks like a negative result. I hope I don't get this caught up next month. Won't be able to take it. :{

Hi, everyone. Happy Friday to you and a blessed 3 day weekend-YAAAAAAAy. My cycle started today for real. It's almost like a weight has been lifted. The 2WW weight. I'll go get my Clomid at the pharm 2nite and start taking it on cd3 again (50mg). I want to do another IUI but this time instead of just and hcg shot, i would like to have the other shot (s) that really make you ovulate. You all know what i am talking about probally. Anyway. I am not going to go to the doctor Monday. It was for at preg. test. don't need to anymore! Well, as always, nice reading everyones comments. You are all Awesome chicarina's!!!!

sarah - May 27th, 2005 8:45 PM

after my iui my doctor did an ultra sound and my follicle was smaller but she wasnt quite sure if it completely broke is this a bad sign?

Yvette - May 29th, 2005 2:50 AM

Today is day 14 after IUI and my preg test was neg. We have been trying to get pregnant for 2yrs now. This was my first IUI but I'm not sure if I can handle all this again.

Jen - May 29th, 2005 10:02 AM

I am not going back for another IUI. Not for a while any way. Yvette, depsite that we (hub&I) are taking it amazingly well...in my heart, i don't know if i can take it again either. If it was free, and we didn't have to take off work for tests, bloodwork, etc it would change the story. But, the 2WW and financial output....I think we are going to sit this month, next couple months out. IVF would be my next step i would want, but again, ka-ching!ka-ching! $$$$$$, ya know? Yvette, 2 years is a while. We've been for 12 years. I'm 32(turning 33 June25th) and hubby is 37. Email me if you want to correspond :) jenny@charter.net
