Well, well, WELL!! After 2 IVF cycles and 7 IUI's.... I have finally done it!!! Hoooooray found out today that we are indeed pregnant with our second little 'bean'. Baby dust to all!!!!!

i had an IUI done yesterday. Have been having mild cramping since yesterday. Its the 2ww thats actually dreadful ... anyway i am keeping my fingers crossed as this is my first IUI.. baby dust to all :) ..

I had my first IUI 1/22/07 due to low sperm count. Luckily I had 3 good size follicles so I am hoping that this is it after 3 1/2 years of trying. So far, I am in no hurry to take a HPT since they told me that the HCG injection would give me a false positive but I am extremely tired, crampy and had a small pinkish spot this morning!! Crossing my fingers! Good luck!

I got my first IUI 5-18-07. I'm now playing the waiting game. I've taken 2 pregnancy test, both were neg. I've had cramping ever since the procedure. I go the 30th for my p-test. Has anyone had a simular experience and got a pos. from the dr?

I had IUI on 4-18-07 and have had lots of lower cramping. I also have started to break out & have been very tired. I took a test today & was neg., but I think it was to early. What do you all think?

HI GIRLS

THIS IS MY FIRST IUI AFTER 1 FAILED IVF I AM SO NERVOUS I DID THE INSEMINATION ON 5/2/07 AND NOW MY 2 WEEK WAIT HAS BEGUN I AM SO NERVOUS AND MAYBE THATS WHY I KEEP REPEATING MYSELF....BUT I AM CRAMPING SINCE YESTURDAY (THE INSEMINATION) AND I HAVE BAD TASTE IN MY MOUTH IS THIS NORMAL? Hi hope786, I too had an iui this week although mine was on May 1 (Tues). Yesterday, I had definite cramping which I deemed to be ovulation cramping. It kind of felt like a "pulling/cramping" sensation. Anyway, my dh and i bd'd this afternoon and now this evening I have a little bit of a bloating and slight cramping feeling. I'm pretty sure it is all normal. I don't know anything about a "bad taste" in your mouth from having iui??? Anyway, I often post on the thread iui in May part 1 and all the girls are very helpful and supportive if you are looking for some support and guidance. They are just full of great info. Good luck! Hi Hope786, let's see, i was told that you can resume your normal activities after iui (within reason). I usually going running, but i think for the next week or so i will just walk on a treadmill or do the stairmaster. As far as gonal f and iui, on this cycle i did clomid cd 3-7, on day 5 i started 75u of gonal f each day until day 11. on day 12 my follies were 20,2 at 17, and 1 at 15. The others were 14 and below. I did the hcg trigger shot that night and iui on day 13. I will start prometrium pills on Sunday evening and have a f/u bw and u/s on Tuesday and another shot of 5000u HCG that day. The prometrium and 2nd shot of hcg are to build up my uterine lining and help "keep" a pregnancy if I am preggo. Anyway, that's my scoop for ya. Baby dust!!

as for me i had 2 great follicles one was 22mm one was about 19mm......so follicles were great and my age is 24.....i dont know what my chances are but lets see........i guess we all have the same chances here..........i did gonal f at 75iu for 12 days and did the ovidrel shot the day before iui and now they asked me to take the progestrome for 10 days and if i am preggo than for 10 weeks......?

has anyone head of pregestrome because i hear that alot of miscarriages are because of progestrome? is it true?

hope-if you are pregnant they want you to take the progesterone supplements to make sure that you progesterone isnt low. if your progesterone is low it can cause a miscarriage.

Hope- sorry i didn't get back to you sooner, but this thread is kind of an old one and i've been mainly staying in touch in the thread "iui in may- part 1". I'm sorry you think this blog is bogus, but i have found it very helpful to talk to people going through the same thing as me. I hope everything works out for you. Good Luck!
