A question for those who have been on the PILL-

i am on forced break cycles of ttc because my RE put me on birth control due to cysts from medicated cycles of injections (and to regulate my cycles and hormones) . this was my 4th month of birth control and i noticed my af was super short -2 days of flow and 1 day of spotting. is it normal that your af is lighter and shorter on the pill ?---or are my hormones out of whack. i have 2 months left of the pill. hopefully things will get better. i am ttc for 2 and a half years.

I was on the pill for 11 years. On the low dose I only had a 2 1/2 day AF and it was very light. As time went by I ended up on a 1/35 Ortho Novum and never had AF. I think it is normal for shorter.lighter flow AF.

I agree - my af was light and I didn't have cramps and all the annoying pms symptoms when I was on the pill. So, I think that is normal. :)
