I have heard of preseed, but only on these threads. I don't know anything about it. I really think this could be your month Kristi! I was going to ask you something else, but I completely forgot what it was!!

DUH!! As soon as I hit submit, it pooped into my brain. Did AF come for you on October 23? Do you remember if the others got it? I tried looking for the old thread, but couldn't find it.

I hadn't really thought about it, but yes AF did come on Oct 23...I wasn't really expecting it till the 25th.... The person who started this thread never did write anymore after her initial question, and I think Monica was getting some spotting....or did she get AF...I think she did get AF, but I think it was later. Of course Stevie never got AF because she is now pg...would like to hear how she is feeling. I'm not sure about anyone else....Pre-sees is a sperm friendly lubricant. Most lubes either kill or block the sperm, but Pre-seed is does niether and is suppsed to act like your natural cm - maybe it is supposed to act like semen, I can't remember, anyhow, it is supposed to actually help the semen swim to where it is supposed to go. We HAVE to use a lube (tmi?), so I went with the pre-seed after learning about lubes hindering the sperms movement.

Found the old thread, it is about 2-3 pages back. Looks like Monica was supposed to get AF 23/24 and got AF on the 28th....Looks like Nic is due for AF today or tomorrow....there were a couple people who only wrote in like one time, so not sure about them.

Hey Kristi, thanks for bumping this up. A funny thing aboutthese threads is that we are not embarrassed to share anything. There is no way I could talk to some of my friends about some of the things that are discussed here. Having said that,I just wanted to say how much I appreciate your honest answers.At least now I know what preseed is. Since I stopped bcp, I am the exact opposite. Never of shortage of cm. I was under the impression that your body produced the cm just before ovulation to assist in fertilization and then slowly dried up until AF. But mine is continual. Always the same colour, a light yellowy/white, with exception to those 3 weeks in October where it was pink. I really think I am coming down with something. I woke up this morning and I felt completely exhausted. The other day I thought I was getting a cold, but nothing?! The human body is so hard to understand! Do you live in the States? When is your Thanksgiving? Perhaps the holidays will be an exciting time for you and your hubby!

Kristy, I think I may have found Nic on another thread. I left a message there for her so hopefully she finds us! Also, I know Monica is around b/c I've seen her posts at other sites. I'll keep looking!

Hey Nic, glad you found us again! Let us know if AF shows....I am on my 2ww - again. Go to Dr Friday and see about having HSG next month and see if she is going to up my mg's of clomid. We'll see... Welcome Back Nic!! Kristi, I live in Saskatoon, Saskatcheewan, Canada so I think I am pretty much straight north of you. Where are you from Nic? I hope your 2 ww goes by quickly with positive results at the end!!! Our Thanksgiving is always the second week in October. Nic hopefully Af will not show her ugly face!! I would sure like to get AF. She hasn't had a visit since August 22. I can't wait to go to the dr at the end of the month to get things started. My son is sick and we finally got him to sleep, so I hope he sleeps through the night. He came home from school with a temp of 38, by 6pm it was 38.9 which for you it would be around 102. We gave him some Motrin, so hopefully he will feel better in the morning. I hate these mystery illnesses. You never know what they are going to walk in the door with. Good Morning Ladies, I am completely exhausted! Alexander was up 3 times last night. HIs fever hasn't changed at all, but he did eat some fruit this morning, so that is a good sign. Perhaps it is because I am so tired, but I feel really nauseous this morning. I really hope it isn't the flu. I am supposed to get the flu shot on Monday!! I put up another notice for Monica, so perhaps if we keep bumping it up she will notice. The province I live in is Saskatchewan, sorry I spelled it wrong before. On the General Pregnancy Questions site, there is a thread there and the topic discusses whether or not Winnie the Pooh is gay. How mental is that!? Well I have to go to sleep before my boy wakes up again. Someone please post, I feel like I'm having a conversation with myself (not that there is anything wrong with that) :o)

Hello Ladies! How are you!?! Many thanks for the new thread! I’m sorry to be MIA lately – I took some of Kristi’s advice in making some “Monica Time” –Ah, much needed! This now #14 month TTC mission was just tearing at me deeper & deeper each month... I was driving DH & myself crazy! I really thought last month would be the month… So after AF came – I wallowed in self pity for a little while - found out DH & I's close friends who have been TTC almost as long as we -finally got their BFP! Got a bit more depressed & then snapped out of it -got up, got out & bought some new super cute non-pg clothes, got a new dog (aw he’s so cute – little English Bulldog) & got my act together in terms of getting back on track with my yoga / meditation regimen…. & made the best of the time I had left with DH… We BD’d on a “at-will schedule” for the first time in a long time & haven’t really even talked about our “troubles” since. Frankly there is nothing we can do until December & even then the window is so small. I fly back to the West Coast on 12/16 & DH will be flying in to meet me on 12/20 – we are to spend X-mas in a snowcovered cabin in the desert & then a welcome the New Year week in Hawaii (my second home) – back to NY 01/10…. So – PLEASE PRAY for me as it will be #15 month…. God all I want for Xmas is my new family!! Anyway – I need help ASAP! I am going to see my RE today @ 12:00. She & I are to pow-wow further into this “unexplained infertility” – I have had everything done – full range hormone panel, sperm testing, HSG, diagnostic month of blood work & internal ultrasounds, temps, charts, herbs, massage therapy, CM enhancers, tailored BD’ing, PCOS scare, cyst discoveries, tears, fears, hopes up & let downs… I know you all can relate in some way if not all!!! I guess her idea is to throw Clomid at me for a few months & see if it works. My problem with this is that I do Ovulate on my own so???? That & I explained to her DH & I will be across the country –thus I wont be able to be monitored... I thought they need to keep an eye on me with ultrasounds?! That B$T@% AF is estimated to arrive this month 11/28 & then on 12/29 naturally – so, would I need Provera to induce my period right before I leave on 12-16 & start clomid (my RE said they don’t do day 3-5 they do day 6-9) Why I wonder?! Hmm… So many questions – so much stress anytime I think about it! I’m printing out all my questions & my charts for the past few months & headed out there now. I will post when I get back with the latest & greatest on my end! PLEASE SHARE ANY CLOMID / PROVERA INFO!!! Also & most importantly: HOW ARE MY GIRLS?!??! Welcome Back Monica!! Congratulations on taking time for yourself!!! I'm sorry but I don't have any answers for you. My dr wanted us to try the natural way before we tried anything else or did any other testing. I go back to the dr at the end of the month, so I will definitely let you know what we decide. It must be so frustrating to have everything work properly in your body and still not get the positive. I haven't had a period since August, but that is due to my body's bcp withdrawal. The end of November will be 7 months off the pill. "Hi my name is Shawna and I am a recovering birth control addict. I was hooked on bcp for 6 years, but have been clean for 7 months!" That's cool that you will be away for the holidays. We are spending Christmad and New Years in St. Martin. We are very excited. If I don't get my bfp by then, I hope the holidays will prove lucky for me again. Our son was conceived Jan 3rd! Good luck with everything and welcome back!!!! Well hello to all. This has been a long day. Af arrived and she played a little game with me. She was suppose to come yesterday and didnt so i got my hopes up a little and then she came today. So i guess on to the next part of my fertility challenge, clomid. i will start my first cycle in 5 days. I do ovulate on cd 21, so my question is how will clomid help me if i already ovulate. My doc perscribed it and said to come back in 3 months if im not pg. Im taking af rather well i have a lot of stuff going on in my family right now so maybe that will help me get my mind off of ttc so much. A baby would be wonderful news right now we could us some cheer. Kristi- I hate being on my 2ww. That 2 weeks feels like a whole month! Hope you have positive results at the end of yours.

Monica, glad to see you back!!! I wondered if you were taking some time off - don't blame you a bit. As much as I think talking to each other helps, at the same time I think it can sometimes make you HAVE to think about it more than you might otherwise.... don't get me wrong, I don't want to give up the support that this has given me!! You guys are great and its nice to have other people who are going through the same thing to talk to... I don't know what to tell you either Monica, I hope you got some answers to your questions today. I do not get monitored on Clomid, in fact my Dr gave me a two month prescription and had me make an appt for the end of the 2 months and then we will go from there. But I am seeing OB/GYN, not an RE yet. But most of the people I know around here do not get monitered on Clomid - I guess I shouldnt say monitered, but do not have to have a/s or anything, you just take your clomid 5 days and bd when your supposed to. I go back to the Dr. tomorrow morning and will see what the next step will be for us if I do not get pg this month - I am on the dreaded tww so we'll see. Have you thought about IUI?? The daughter of a lady I work with just had artificial insemination done Monday and will know in 10-14 days if she pg. She said it was actually a very pleasant procedure as in everyone was nice and her dh was right there and they made it all very peaceful. my dh and i have decided that if it comes to it we are willing to go 2 maybe 3 IUI tries and thats as far as it goes....hopefully it will not come to that. I am going to talk to Dr tomorrow about scheduling HSG either Dec or Jan. Shawna, hope your son gets to feeling better and you too.....maybe your pg...have you thought about taking a HPT just to check?? I am jealous of you two getting to go away for the holidays!! I will stuck here KS....think of me in the windy cold while you are both basking in the sun!!! Where abouts in Hawaii are you going Monica? Nic, looks like we were posting at the same time!! Sorry about AF....what days do you take clomid....what did Dr tell you about bding? You should O 5-8 days AFTER your last clomid pill, so it may make you O sooner, I really am not sure. How many days was it from when you O'd last month until AF came yesterday, do you know?
