Wow Ann! That is so amazing! I am so super happy for you! Reading your post makes me even more excoited for October to come around! I have seen my little one's hb. I go again on Wednesday for my first OB appt and I will get to see him/her again! You take care of you and Zane and congrats again to you and your dh! How is he holding up? : )

Hi Tonia! Thanks. How are you feeling? Seeing the hb is great, isn't it? That was one of my milestones to feel a little more excited and like the pg was real/would continue w/o complications. Tracy, how is the bed rest going?

Hey Ann, I am feeling good. I am only getting a tiny bit of nause, nothing to really complain about! other than that, my bb's are growing and a little sore, no other complaints! How are you feeling? Is your recovery going good?

Oh my God! Ten pounds!!!! You poor thing! He must be the cutest thing on the planet though! My husband was a big baby, so I'm scared, although less scared since I am having a girl. I would think boys would tend to be a bit bigger. We'll see though. So how long were you in the hospital for? Didn't you have Zane last week? I did the 3 hour glucose test this morning and have felt sick with a bad headache all day. I finally just threw up three times! I can't believe the torture that test has put me through today. Bed rest is going ok. My cervix has lengthened some and I have learned to take it slower, so I'm up and about quite a bit, just not pushing it. I find that there are just things that I can't leave up to others to do, so I just get up and do them. We are also in the process of buying a house, so have been trying to still see houses and such even though I'm not really supposed to. We are putting an offer on a house any day now. If you get time, go to my maymommies site and check out my page. The house is on there. I'm so glad to hear that you finally have that little miracle in your arms. You have no idea how happy I am for you. The struggle was long and tumultuous, but you made it, with a ten pounder no less!!!! You can also see a few 3D images of my little one on that site. She was blinking her eyes (trying to open them) during last week's ultrasound. It was so cool. Anyway, once you get that kid off your boob, go to maymommies(dot)piczo(dot)com and click on my name. I want to see a picture of Zane. Does he have a hospital page like Lynn's Sydney or anything yet?

Ann, since you are double pumping, etc.... what pump are you using? I registered for one and want to compare it to what you are using.

Hey Tracy. I posted on the other thread yday and was going to come over and post here, too, but my dad arrived from out of town, a friend stopped by w/lunch, and Zane woke up. After that, the whole day slipped away! My dad is still here, so I will check out your page a little later today when I can get back online. The pump I got is the Medela Pump in Style Advanced. My company actually subsidizes them, so I only had to pay 150 (normally 330 or 350 or something like that). It works great. I am not doing the major pumping like I was, but my hospital also uses Medela. The lactation consultants there gave me a bunch of additional parts that I also used at the hospital. One piece of very valuable advice I can give you if you want to bfeed is to meet w/the lactation consultants. The are wonderful. There are so many things that I learned from them that I didn't learn from reading about bfeeding, and they are very supportive. Also, whatever you do, don't give up before a couple of weeks. I am 8 days into it now, and things have significantly improved. I really wanted to quit several times!! I know there will still be good days and bad days. Anyone that tries to tell you that bfeeding is easy and they had zero problems is likely sugar coating things. It is hard but worth it! Congrats on getting the offer going on a house, too. I can't wait to check it out! Zane doesn't have a hospital page, but I will email you a pic. Is your email still the same from when we exchanged pics a while ago?

Tracy88 - March 1

Yeah, my email is still the same. I registered for the exact pump that you have, so I guess maybe I should go with my instincts and put it back on my registry??? I have read consumer reviews on less expensive ones and the results were not good, so I think I'll go with your experience. Plus, I have to think about the fact that I will probably have another child and will need it again. I will definitely meet with a LC, thanks for that tip. Did I tell you on your February thread that I failed my 3 hour glucose test??? Yep, have to see a nutritionist now.

Tracy88 - March 1

OK, just got off the phone with the doc's office for the diabetes thing. Meant to tell you that I am glad the feedings are improving. I'm so excited to see your baby for some reason! I guess I'm just so happy for you!

Hey Tracy. Awesome on the house. It looks great!! I don't know how your hospital does it, but mine sells the pumps. You could also ask your store if you can return the pump if it is unopened. Then you could have it ready if you need it. I know you can't return it if it is opened, because the pieces are sterile. That SUX about your glucose test. Now what do they do now?? I will get on my email and send you a pic later today. I have to get back into my living room and visit w/my dad!
