TESSIE - June 10

hi!!! i AM TESSIE AND MARRIED FOR 6 MONTHS NOW. I AM 48 YEARS OLD AND I NEVER HAD A CHILD. NOW I WONDER IF I CAN STILL GET PREGNANT. IS IT POSSIBLE FOR ME TO CONCEIVE WITH MY AGE? I STILL MENSTRUATE REGULARLY AND BEEN PRACTICING HEALTHY LIVING. I AM HOPING SOMEONE HERE CAN GIVE ME ADVICE OF WHAT TO DO. THANK YOU!

any pregnancy over 35 is typically at high risk. but for me, as long as you're healthy and capable of conceiving then it doesn't really matter. i know someone who had her first at 50, gave birth naturally to a healthy baby. best of luck!

having regular period doesn't always guarantee a woman to get pregnant. it doesn't always work that way. i think i saw another post from you Tessie and i understand how much you wanted to get pregnant. but you mentioned in your other post that you don't want to take any medications, right? but at your age now, it's think it's impossible to go natural. so i cannot suggest anything than to see a fertility specialists. that's all, hope this helps and good luck!

yes it's possible. however, it takes two to conceive. how old is your husband/partner anyway?

you know, i am your age now and part of me is still wishing to have another baby. but my husband is 10 years older than me so i honestly think it's no longer possible. anyway, i wish you every bit of luck if you are still planning..
