It is called a stenotic cervix...there are several explanations ..none of which really fit for me. Who knows. My doc discovered it when he did HSG. I cannot understand why it was never noticed in the 14 yrs I have been having pap smears...interesting. Lovemy3 I hope this is the month for you too. I think this is the month for all of us!!!! Has anyone seen the movie Facing the Giants? If not GO!!!! It is a great movie and it gives some hope in the area we are dealing with. I cried my eyes out and so did DH!! Good movie!! Baby dust!!

I've never heard of that movie, sounds interesting though. I hope you all get your BFPs this cycle! Keep us updated. Have a great day all!

Hey guys, looks like I have two 14 mm eggs on the right ovary today, so I will probably get the trigger shot this Wednesday night and do insemination Thurs/Friday. If this doesn't work, the third try, I think I'm looking into IVF. My girlfriend just told me she got pregnant last July. I can't wait to throw her a baby shower, mostly because I can't wait to shop for cute baby clothes for her! I just love seeing all the cute stuff out there for babies.

linds, I'm glad you have 2 follicles that look promising! I agree, shopping for baby stuff is sooo fun! Baby dust to you :-)

Hi guys, Officially on the 2ww. I usually o on cd18,19 or 20 and this month I bought a 5 pack of opks so I couldn't start btesting till cd15 so I'd have enough tests to get to cd20, well when I tested on cd15, I was already surging. We had bd the night before, cd14 evening, so that was good and then by the time we could bd again it was in the evening after the a.m surge cd15, so we did. But by the time we bd that evening, the surge line was negative again. Do you think that was too late?. I was shocked, I have never had an early surge. I did however think I saw a little EWCM on cd13, and that explains it. I need to not be so wrapped up in these silly tests and pay attention to signs from my own body. I am annoyed at myself today, cuz I just caught the tail end of my surge test I think. Anyhow, let the 2ww begin.XOXO Good luck on Thurs, that is great you have a great chance. I'll be thinking of you!

celestia1977 - October 11

lovemy3 - good luck this cycle! I'll be praying for you :-) I don't think it was too late. You ovulate for a full 24 hours after your surge, so you could be okay.

lovemy3 - October 11

Feeling discouraged.. tested on cd 15- surge, cd16-surge??, and cd17 surge?? this can't be. this has never happened before. They are very dark lines and very obvious. In the past they have only been dark 2 days and then faint again. All these dark lines are first morning urine, then I have also tested in the afternoon and they are faint lines, but back to dark in the a.m. Any suggestions?

celestia1977 - October 11

I'm guessing that the reason they are darker in the morning is because it's the first morning urine...possibly? I haven't had much luck with opks, cause they don't detect my ovulation at all. What brand of tests are you using? I like the Clear Blue ones.

linds99 - October 11

lovemy3, you ovulate about 12-36 hours after that LH surge...I think you guys likely had those guys up in the tubes by then, if not when the egg was actually released, then while the egg was still there. I think it is very promising. If you had the egg white on CD 13, I think that is very promising in itself.

lovemy3 - October 11

Thanks Linds and Celestia, I inquired about it some more and was told that if you are approaching or in menopause that your body can be triggereing a lh surge calling for your ovaries to release the egg, but due to lack of estrogen (menopause) it doesn't actually ever release the egg, therefore a constant state of "surge" is showing but no egg is ever released. that was very discouraging to me, because I am worried about menopause. the women in my family tend to be THRU it by age 42. I am going to buy another pack of OPKs and see what it says in the a.m. thanks for your encouragement and good luck tomorrow with your procedure XOXO

Lovemy3 I am with Linds on this one. You guys are right on target and I think this definitely is going to be your month!!!!! Keep us posted.
I have to tell you ladies something has come over me...I am on cycle day 13 and I am not freaking out like I usually am ... I am not manipulating bding every day, etc.
I am so peaceful this time...must be all of that prayer. I just think I have come to the conclusion that I cannot control this....I can only do what I need to do and I need to let God do the rest. DH is at peace as well. I feel like a whole new woman this month. It is kind of like "Great if it does and great if it does not" for this cycle. I am just amazed at how relaxed I am...usually I am trying to control the whole thing.
I found out that one of my old boyfriends (we dated for 4 yrs whe I was in college) and his wife are pregnant. That is so cool to me. They have been married close to ten yrs and I just thought they did not want kids ( not like I ever asked) and now they are having a little girl. This is the coolest thing to me. He said that they had not been trying to prevent it from happening all of these years but it just never happened until now. I am so excited for them. More hope...I needed that! Talk to you ladies later. And I do have to say..being so new to this site and all of this on line stuff and after reading some of the other threads I think you ladies are the best...not that the other ladies are not but some odd things get said on this site (as with any other site I suppose). thanks for being so wonderful.

Angelkkitty, Wow, that is like I am feeling tonight. Today was so stressful...worrying etc. I just prayed about it for a long time with a friend and have realized I need to surrender it all. I don't have control over it and God is the author of this plan, not me. I also prayed for the desire to be removed if this is not His will. Thanks for sharing your post and realization, I found it very encouraging. Lately I found this ttc becoming all consuming, and really needed to dig deep on this. hugs XOXO

Good news...stopped showing a surge this a.m.. Its official..I'm on my 2ww. Bd this a.m just to make sujre, cd118. My af should arrive on cd28, lets hope this is the month, I'm starting to find this crazy-lol.

angelkitty - October 12

Lovemy3 I think we are in the same place. You are right - God is the author and He is in total control. I think surrendering to Him is the best thing that we can do. I cannot tell you what His plan is for your life but I know what His word says and His word says That He would give us the desires of our heart. I think it is awesome that you were able to pray for Him to take the desire away if it was not His will...that shows complete trust on your part. He honors trust. I am on cd14 so I will be watiing with you. :o)

That is awesome angelkitty, even my own doctor...YES...doctor....asked me if I believe in God, I said yes! And she said "Good, because these babies are truly unexplained gifts from God." Keep the faith, your demeanor is very healthy without all the stressing. hey lovemy3, I'll be right behind you in the two week wait. I get my trigger shot tonight, I had 5 mature follicles on the right ovary today! Hooray! one is bound to pop...I had two 22 mm, 1 that was 17 mm and two that were 16 mm. I hope all my praying this month paid off. So let the WAIT BEGIN Ladies!! Good luck to everyone too...July babies here we come!
