Hi all...love it is so easy to get down about all of this. My ups and downs have been enough for me to write a Saturday Night Live Comedy act. TTC and fertility is like a romance novel - up and down but I believe the end will be like the typical romance novel - in the end the girl always gets her guy and we will get our babies!!!!!! :o) I am here with you lady and we will get our BFP's!!!! I am so excited about my appointment on Thursday....say a prayer!!

lovemy3 - January 16

hey there, I am excited to for your appointment. It'll be good. I do keep you in my prayers often. Never would I have said I'd see the day that I ever typed online, and never would have I thought I'df have conversation and meet great friends like you girls. You are all a great blessing!

Good morning ladies!!! How is everyone? Things are good here...my appt is today. It feels like it has been forever since I made it. Tink I am excited about your orientation...it does feel good to get the show on the road doesn't it? The waiting and doing nothing is for the birds! It just makes you feel better when you are in the process of getting things done. Soon you will have a BFP!! Lovemy3...what's going on with you lady? Just a few more days in this 2ww for us. :o) Are you doing a current Bible study? I was thinking about starting a Beth Moore one called Daniel....my boss is doing it and I thought I might join in with her group. Have you done that one? Just wondering. How is everything else going? JB - what is going on with you? Do you know when next month you will be doing the transfer (I think that is what you are doing next isn't it)? Pam how are you feeling? I think of you often. Linds, how are you doing? is your tummy getting big yet? :o) I post after the appt. Y'all have a good day!!

Hi lovemy3, angelkitty, thanks for wondering about me (I've been busy at work so I have to sneak a moment here and there to catch you guys.) Yes, I did have my ultrasound yesterday. It has been 40 days since conception, so that puts me at 5 weeks and about 6 days today...and guess what, we saw a heart beat at 97 bmp yesterday, so it must have just started. It is true, the baby's heart starts to beat about 5-1/2 weeks! It was beautiful to see it. Praise the Lord I said. :) Actually, I am measuring at 6 weeks on the ultrasound, so the baby is a few days ahead of growth. I plan on posting pictures on the web this weekend and will let you guys know when. How are you two doing now??? Angelkity, how did your consult go with the doctor? (I'm sorry, if you already said, I'm gonna go back reread the thread to catch up a bit.) Lovemy3, are you thinking about seeing someone soon too to figure out what is going on or are you gonna give it more time??

angelkitty - January 18

Oh Linds!! That is awesome that you heard your baby's heartbeat. My sister said when she hears it for the 1st time it always made her cry (with hre son and now with her 2nd pregnancy). I am so happy for you Linds!!!! I miss you like crazy on the thread - your humor and your knowledge-but I am excited that you have moved past the 2ww. I can't wait to join you on getting out of the 2ww and I can't wait to bring Love, Tink, JB, Pam, and Lyric with me!!!!!!!! Definitely let us know when you post the pics.

Thanks so much! I'm not leaving here...I like you guys too much, seriously want you guys to be with me on this journey too. Lovemy3 has parental experience, it would be nice to be able to pick her brain about things she knows about-raising kids! And angelkitty, I always check out the progress of you guys, hoping the best for you too tomorrow when you see the doctor. Please let us know how that goes. Really, thanks so much for your support gals...but I'm still here for you too!

Hey!! Linds...missed ya!! What awesome news for you!! I'm so excited fpr you!~! Angelkitty...how did things go? Excited for you too. As a matter of fact, this a.m at 9 we started the Daniel study at our church. I coordinated it and it was AWESOME!!!!! Talked all about this being a modern day Babylonian and how we need to be Daniels in our world. the workbook was $20 and has lots of homework. If you can join one, do it. It was superb and I'm so pumped about the next 11 weeks on Thursdays! Fill us in quick about your appt! JB...how are about your news? I have too run, but I want to post back later with some more stuff. ttyl

lovemy3 - January 18

just quickly again Angelkitty, you have to do this study, it was just sooooooo awesome, I just can't say it enough!!

HI there ladies!! My appt went good....I am glad it is all said and done....I have been on edge for the past couple of days waiting to go. I was yelling at cars to get out of my way on the way to the office b/c I was afraid we would be late. DH was like "Honey there is a fish on the back of our truck which basically screams to the world we are Christians so can you please behave like one?" Way too funny!!!! The appt went good...love the doc and the receptionist. After my period starts I need to go to the office and let them check my hormone levels and do the u/s to make sure there is no endo and then we will go from there. I flat out asked him if we could just skip the whole "lets do clomid and an iui and see how that goes thing and go right to ivf" I am just so tired of this game. He was wonderful. He also made the statement that it sounded like I had been doing my homework....he has no idea....this forum has helped me so much...not just with learning about infertility but with the emotional support. I feel good about the appt and I am looking forward to moving on. Talk to y'all later. :o)

Sounds good. Did he do a test to see if you got pregnant this month? Or afs should be here soon. We are in a small group that meets at our place Thurs night and our company just left. A couple who are the childrens ministry leaders announced they found out they are pregnant. they were so excited. their first baby. I was so excited for them. They are younger, 25 and just such a great couple. So, now for the next 40 Thursdays we will follow their progress. I surprisingly didn't find it too hard at all. I'm thinking that if we pack in our ttcing, they would be the ones I could part wioth all my baby clothes etc too cuz they are so nice. She is due in Sept, and we will either be pregnant or vasectomied by then.

lovemy3 - January 19

Everybody is so quite this a.m. JB whats gong on now?

linds99 - January 19

Angelkitty, your visit sounds like it went well. So I bet you will "start" in late February or March with a game plan right? The next month, when they check your hormone levels, (is he also checking your tubes/uterus for polyps with the saline or iodine test? Also, is your husband getting his sperm analysis then?) So I assume the month after that, the ttc show gets on the road. Do you really think he will let you bipass IUIs and go straight to IVF? Although I can see "why" you would want to do that, but wouldn't you also want to see if maybe you just needed "a little help" first...maybe do a round of clomid or injectionables with an IUI before going for the big one? In retrospect, i personally wouldn't have changed a darn thing with the way I did it, with three rounds of clomid and the IUIs, because now I know for sure that seriously, it was not ever going to happen naturally. I felt going to IVF secure that I did all I could and now I should let the big guys take over for me. What are you thinking?
