when should I start taking benadryl in the cycle?

Hi,
I'm starting puregon injections tonight for the next eight days. I am also going to start taking the cough syrup with giufesin (sp?) in it because of everything I've read. I know it gets rid of mucous in the tubes, which I knowI've had.
does anyone know when to start taking it during the cycle?
Also, has anyone had any good/bad success with it. I'm from Canada,
