period due, but opk shows ferning pattern ????

will a salive tester show a ferning pattern at any other time besides around ovulation???
my period should of arrived today but hasn't... no i'm definately not pregnant.. had tubal reversal 12 days ago and haven't had sex since a week prior to operation.. so why if my period is normally meant to arrive now, would i get the fertile pattern appearing ???

I hate the saliva tester. It is expensive and never accurate. I stopped using it because it was always giving me ferns, like I was ovulating all the time or no ovuation at all. Sorry, don't want to upset you, but try LH surge products, they are more accurate.
