Anyone had an ectopic and conceived afterwards?

I have been ttc for going on 6 cycles. I had an hsg done in January and my tubes are clear. I was also given the go ahead to ttc. I did have an ectopic last September but doc thinks that the problem could have more to do with a slow moving egg at the time. I have had my hormones checked and everything is ok. I am still bf'ing and my prolactin level is not that high it was 11 and anywhere between 3 and 26 is considered normal. (I thought the bf may interfere with my conceiving) I however have not been able to conceive yet. I am 40 have an 18 month old and already conceived the ectopic 9 months ago1 while bf'ing. Anyone successfully conceive after an ectopic? I am on cd2 I am also looking for cycle buddies. I am looking for a glimmer of hope. Thanks

i had an ectopic pregnancy when i was 30 and conceived when i was 35 with only one ovary. i had my son when i was 36. did you talk to your doctor about your age affecting conceiving? when i had my son my ob-gyn couldn't believe that i was pregnant at my age.
