after surgery

Hi, I'm now on day 39 of my cycle since my last period. I did have a lacaroscopy done 2.5 weeks ago and did bleed then. Could that have been a period? I'm so frustrated because we're just waiting for my period to start to do a cycle with puregon. AND, if it starts late, that leads to the week I have off and we're going away!
What do you think is happening.... did I already have it, or is it delayed because of surgery?

DOnt worry, I have a friend who did that same procedure and after it she did bleed but i dont know if that could of been a period, BUt doc did tell her that after surgery it might of delay a month or so to get back on track. Are you always regular on your periods??
