Question about Vitex...

I have been taken Vitex to regulate my cycles. I started taking it at the begining of January. I have not had a period since Christmas. I am about 2 months late. I took a couple pregnancy test and all negative. Would still being on Vitex effect that? I read not to be on Vitex while pregnant, but I have not found what effects it will cause if you are. I do not think I am pregnant, neither do the test, but I am 2 months late.
