I've recently been diagnoised with PID; I found out by doing a D&C. I already have a 3 1/2 yr. old son but we have been trying for another one for the past 18months. My Dr. gave me some antibotics. But I wanted to know my chances of getting pregnant again. Did anyone, or someone they know get pregnant after having PID?

The Dr. said I had chronic inflammation of the lining of my urterus(endometritis).

Hi Keyaine, I've heard that you can get pg with both endometreiosis, you just may need help. Good luck.

I had a Chlamydia infection that went undetected for three years. I developed Chronic PID. I had a laproroscy done and it was determined that I had severe adhesions and tubal scarring. I am 43 years on and pregnant for the first time. All glory to the God because the doctor told me that it would be impossible to get pregnant.

Having PID does not tollay make you infertile but once treated it should be ok for you to get pregnant. It's not very long since you had your child so you have hope.
