I absolutely hate this waiting!! I had some cramping day 4 through 7, but since then nothing. I had IUI on the 12th so I am waiting for next weekend to come so I will finally know!! I have been asking around and the only thing most people say about before missing a period is that their boobs were sore and they thought it was just PMS. Just put me to sleep for the next week!!!!

Hello! I'm thrilled to have found this site. I had my first IUI on 5/11, we used donor sperm because my husband has a genetic illness we didn't want to pass on. I was a bit freaked out about having a strangers bodily fluids injected into me. But I got over it quick. Now we are just waiting. I've been feeling cramping and headaches - even a little dizzy. I was thinking it had to be all in my head - wishful thinking. I'm thrilled to see all this positive energy on this site. We are all on the right track and it WILL happen. :)

Hello IUI friends......I have been sick with allergies, but I don't think that has anything to do with pregancy. I don't feel any pregnancy symptoms. I am trying to prepare myself for the test to be negative....... This is the longest two weeks ever! I wonder why my doctor did not say anything about a blood test? I guess if I miss my period I will call his office. Wishing you all positive results!

I got a very faint positive line on my home p-test. Does this mean I may be pregnant? It is Day 28 (post IUI 15th). I am going to call the Doctor and get a blood test!

Hi Lisa. We are IUI buddies b/c I had mine on 5/11 as well. To test or not to test, that is the question. I am 11 DPI and my boobs are sore and I still have a little cramping in the lower pelvic region (sorry TMI) and I have been a little more tired than usual (I think). I'm also moody lately but could this all be possible pregnancy, early PMS since it's been this way a few days now OR I am just so aggravated b/c these 2 weeks are taking FOREVER!!! Is anyone else out there feeling this enormous amount of anxiety? It's almost like I want to know but I'm scared to find out. I was thinking of taking the First Response HPT b/c you can test sooner with that one but I'm so nervous if it's negative. I'm so sorry if I'm freaking anyone else out. It's just that these past 2 weeks have been so difficult.

hi i did my iui on 5/14, i am waiting for my 2ww to be up. I am like every one else very excited. my breast been sore 4days after my hcg injection and 2 days after my iui and it is still sore. This is my first iui with gonal-f. I have been trying for 5years i am 29. I had 4 miscarraige and 1 etopic. I feel pregnant but i think it is all in my head. i am glad to have found a website where everyone is going through the same thing.

Lisa - May 22nd, 2005 12:24 PM

Hi Marisa. It is amazing how many people have done the IUI. We did it on the same day so we can think positive thoughts for each other. Yes, I am going crazy with the waiting. I have been extreemly moody but I'm not sure if there is a reason for it. I wan't planning on taking a test until Wednesday of next week......but now I feel like I want to walk into the bathroom and do it now. Is it rational to throw money down the drain (because the tests aren't cheap) just to satisfy a need? Keep me posted on your status. :)

marisa - May 22nd, 2005 2:48 PM

Lisa...I know what you mean. That's what I'm thinking too. My RE told me not to test though b/c the resluts may not be accurate. So I guess I just have to wait. I did 9 days of Bravelle. My RE doubled my dosage though b/c my body wasn't responding well to single dosage. I will DEFINITELY wish positive thoughts for you as well as all the ladies on here. Just try to think of it this way, we got this far. We only have 3 days to go!!!

natasha - May 22nd, 2005 5:22 PM

rama i did my iui on the 14th and 3 days later my breast has been sore, it is now 1wk later and my breast is still sore a little, and i feel the same way, like period is getting ready to come. I wish us luck, this is so hard for all of us. I try to keep faith and pray, so just hang in there. Everything happens for a reason.

Jen - May 22nd, 2005 5:38 PM

It is now 7 day post IUI (May 16th i had it don). I feel VERY tired. Like a heavy kind of tired, like the minute i lay down i can fal into a deep semi concsious nap. This waiting is about to drive me batty. I know my whole family is waiting too, until the 30th when we can take a hpt. This indeed IS the longest wait of my life.

Ashley - May 22nd, 2005 7:12 PM

Macaron- I would think that means something especially since you tested negative a couple of days ago. Do you have any symptoms? I have nothing and I really want to take an early test, but I know I should not because the results may not be accurate. I have been having fertile type cervical fluid. I am not sure if that is normal? It is so nice to know that other women are going through this right now! If I did not know that God was in control of this, I think I would be going crazy. I know He knows what is best for me! I am hoping we have some good news from one of us soon!

macaron - May 22nd, 2005 7:21 PM

Ashley, hang in there. I know exactly how it feels. Now I have some period like symptom...not so good, but my bbtempretaure stays high. My boyfriend thinks I am being too focused on this matter, but how can you be totally normal??? I am sure, we will all cope with any results once we find out, but while waiting, it is normal to be anxious, and go through mood swings. You are so right that somone out there knows what is best for you, and if it is not this time, there will be a better time. I got a negative result today from another brand of HPT. What a disappointment! But I leaned from other people who got pregnant with IUI, that that sometimes happen and infact, she got a faint line first, then a negative, but then was really pregnant in the end. I am going to get the blood test today, but I am trying to be prepared for the worse. If my baby is there, it's there, if not, it will be sometime in the future. Let's go through this together. Lots of baby wish to your way!!!!!

Jen - May 22nd, 2005 8:20 PM

Macaron, I am excited for you. I bet you are pg. I hope we all are. I have been feeling flushed, almost feverish, not myself. Has anyone felt this?

becky - May 23rd, 2005 2:27 AM

Hi everyone, is me again. I had my test this morning with negative result but my period still not come yet, really don't know what is going on. My cycle usually is 26-29 days, so will wait for few more days to test again (my last period was 26 April). Couldn't sleep very well this two weeks. My husband always ask me to take it easy but I think he is more excited than me. I will keep praying and also will pray for those waiting for the result. God bless you.

macaron - May 23rd, 2005 4:03 AM

becky, I think you are almost sync with my cycle. My last period was April 25, and I got IUI on May 7th, and I just got a blood test at the clinic and found out I was actually pregnant! However, the hcg level is very low, so not very stable at the moment. Dr gave me more Progesterone pills and I am going back for another test in a few days to see if it has grown at all...I am scared if it is a very weak one and might have misccarriage. Anyway, I had negative result just yesterday with HPT, so you may well be pregnant if you are still not getting af. Hang in there! Lots of baby dust for all of you girls, and thank you so much for your support!
