I had an iui 14 days ago, im going to wait until this weekend to take a test just so its more accurate. I am having stomach cramps and my chest is really sore? Think I could be pregnant?? I hope so :) We have been trying for 18 months.

I Had an IUI 4 days ago....I am cramping, my breasts were sore today, is this normal......we have been trying for 2 years....I am cramping like I am going to start my cycle....is this normal?

Keely- buckets of baby dust to you girl!!! Hope you get that +++ result!!!! We tested this weekend & got a positive result after our 1st IUI, have been trying for nearly 18 months- with 1 blighted ovum- when I found out I was PCOS & not producing any progesterone!!

Rachel- toward the end of my 2WW I was exhausted, and really sore bb's, & the whole time I was convinced AF was on the way! I was bloated & just felt gross the whole time!! Just hang in there & let us know how it goes!! Buckets of baby dust your way too!!

I had IUI on 5th May and the waiting is killing me! I, too, had cramps for the first 2 days. My doctor really hasnt told me what to expect. My son was born in Feb last year and I think every preg is different, not that I can remember much of the early stages with his cos I was so over the moon. It took me 3 years to fall in with him. We were due to start IUI and found out we were already expecting!

Can someone please explain to me what IUI stands for. What it is. Why it is done. and is it very expensive? sorry for all the questions but I am pretty new at this and really need to know. thanks baby dust to all!!!!!!!!

All the symptoms are similar to pre-period symptoms i had my first IUI on April 27 and tomorrow i will go for my test result all my pregnancy test have shown negative but my very first one showed positive I think it was because of the HCG shot I received you are supposed to wait 12days before you can take an accurate pregnancy test . I am still going to take another test tomorrow before i go to the doctor. I hop e everybody is successful in all that they want. Good Luck everyone!!!

IUI stands for Intra-Uterine Insemination

An IUI is intrauterine insemination, It is when they RE places washed sperm directly in the uterus so you have a better chance of getting preg. It can cost anywhere from 200-600 dallors depending if your insur will cover any of it. I had my first IUI done on 5/4/05 and I am on my 2ww and going crazy. My bb are sore and I have some cramping and my RE said they are not even going to test me until day 35. Does this sound like a normal wait?

Did anyone here get preg. on their first IUI? What is a normal sperm count after washing? My DH was 59 million before washing and 8.5 mil after washing. My RE says this is normal but I keep reading on site that this is close to low. Also anyone suffer from OHSS? If so did you get preg and how long did the symptoms last? Thanks for your time and good-luck to everyone

Washing? what do you mean? My husband and I just went to the Dr and got tested for any probs. My husband has a VERY low sperm count and a infection (not STD) for which he is going to the Dr for on Monday. Is this something that can be easly fixed? ie infection and low sperm? And what is RE? thanks

I had an IUI for the first time on Friday 5/6. I am having some very sharp pains and cramps on the left side near where (I think) my ovaries are. Is this normal? Any significance regarding success? I too would like to know if anyone has had success on their first IUI. Thanks and baby dust and good luck to all!

I am so glad to hear people are suffering cramping. I had an IUI 5/8. I have had dull cramping in lower abdomen and also to my left side. Today I have been really tired. My question is, "did people with these symptoms show positive?

well today i go to the doctor for my blood test results im really nervous. I have been taking pregnancy test at home and they have all showed negative. I only had one follicule due to PCOS. I have been reading and they say for a good chanc of getting pregnant you need at least 2-3 so we will see. I will let yall know if I was + or - . Good Luck

I had my IUI May 8th. today I noticed i had a whitish yellow discharge. Is this normal?
