Applecarm, I have that book too and it has been a blessing and a nightmare. Sometimes what you know can hurt you. I hate knowing when my AF is coming.(sometimes ; )

Happypiglet - June 12th, 2005 9:17 PM

Well, I had my second IUI on 5th June. I feel alot more relxed this time and I am hoping that things go my way. The waiting was agony last time and the 'am I or aren't I' was killing me. On my first cycle of IUI, ovulation was triggered by the doctor via injections. This time I was shocked when the Ovulation test came back positive. So maybe this time my body is telling me the time is right. It took me two years to fall preg with my son (he is now 15 months old). I have another medical condition and the doc wants me to have another baby asap. thats ok for the docs to say, but it stresses me out when they say 'Why isn't it happening?'. It's like 'Well, why is the grass green?'. How the hell would I know?!? Anyway, just sharing my story. I have been reading everyone elses positive notes for months now. Hopefully I will have good news to share with you all soon. Buckets of baby dust your way grils :)

Well the last three days have not been fun, I have had alot of crampy and my boobs kill. I have a pimple on my cheek ( I only get them when AF is on her way) I still have about 2 more days before I can test but this is killing me! I really want to know now what the results are. I just had to shear this because this 2WW is hard. I really hope I get a BFP. Baby dust to all!!

applecarm - June 13th, 2005 7:30 AM

Kim, Good luck and alot of baby dust to you! Have you had any cramping? I didn't have much this 2ww but for the last 3 days they have been horrible.I do not know if this is good or bad? Good luck to you!!

Applecarm-I hope you have positive results this week. I know the wait is so hard. I have been trying to stay busy as that keeps my mind from being so anxious. My doctor has told us that due to my medical conditions we should try IUI one more time and then try IVF. He even wants us to think about using a donor egg. The donor egg is out in my mind, but we may consider IVF. We have a lot to think and pray about! I am still hoping the IUI works this month. We actually found an adoption agency that we love and we are praying through that right now as well. Happypiglets-I had my IUI a day after you did. I hope you get positive results! Hoping to hear good news from some of us this week:-)

Ashley - June 13th, 2005 10:45 AM

Vani-I had that happen a couple of months ago. I had spotting for two days and then a light period. It also came two days early. I would call your doctor and let them know. They would be able to direct you.

vani - June 13th, 2005 11:34 AM

ashley- i guess from what u wrote ur results were negative a couple of months ago i am really worried and anxious this is all so emotionally over whelming. Good luck to u!

Ashley - June 13th, 2005 12:42 PM

Vani-Have you taken a test? You can have bleeding when the embryo implants so you still might have some hope. I will be praying for you.

Annie - June 13th, 2005 6:59 PM

I had an HCG shot on 09/06/05 then an IUI (my first) on 10/06/05. Since that I have severe and continuous nausea. As anyone ever experienced this ?

Tracey - June 13th, 2005 10:24 PM

I had my 3rd IUI last Thursday 6/9, but did my HCG shot Tuesday night. I was wondering how long it takes for the HCG shot to be out of your system?

chris - June 14th, 2005 3:23 AM

i'm planning to do iui this cycle but my af is not here yet...by the way, i'm rather anxious on the whole thing...the daily injections and such...are they painful? please tell me

Applecarm - June 14th, 2005 9:25 AM

Ashley, Thanks for your positive thoughts. I will be praying for you and hope this time is the right time for you! We all must remember that the man upstairs knows what he is doing even if it's hard for us to see. Just belive and have faith and good things will happen. After all, babies are little miricles. I really hope that we all get good news soon!!! I took a HCG booster shot last Wed. so I have to wait until Thurs to be sure it's out my system. They tell you to wait at least 7 days. Good luck to everyone!! Buckets of baby dust to all!!!
