Last month I took 100 mg clomid for cd 5-9 and got 7 follicles. Unfortunately, I found out the clomid "dries me out" = no ewcm = no pg. That's why this month I will need to do IUI. I am also taking avandia, a diabetic drug for the pcos, and the doc put me on a prescription prenatal. I am also trying to eat more organic stuff and veggies, since that will help the pcos. |

Hey KellyN ... wow that is great... not sure if the doc will let me have a us tomorrow.. i have a call in for her to call me tomorrow at work .. and im going to talk to her about doing one... i hope that she does... today is cd 10 for me .. i feel alittle bloated... and every once in awhile ill feel a pain in my abodmen ... but other than that i feel pretty good... waiting for my dh to get home either tomorrow night late or friday... grrhhh .. i wish he was here lol.. anyways... how is everyone else??? doing good i hope...kellyn please let us know how everything goes tomorrow... good luck and baby dust to everyone .. lots of it .. :) |

Wow...it sounds like things are happening for a lot of you..I think that's a good sign. Good luck to Kelly. My doctor does not have it in our plans to do a u/s but this is only our 1st month on Clomid. Maybe it will be suggested next time. I have my HSG in about 1 hour. I'm a little nervous..hope that everything looks alright. Still not convinced that this HSG won't interfere with conception this month. The timing seems off.. this is cd 10. Keep up the good egg-producing work, ladies! |

Hello everyone! It is so exciting to hear from other women sharing my burdon! I took my first cycle of clomid on the 3rd of this month, my husband and i humped like rabits for the two weeks after thr clomid and now i'm waiting to see if a baby happened. I have to pee a lot and i'm tired, could those be symptoms? |

Hi everyone! I managed to get through my first IUI yesterday. They wanted to do another one today, but we were not prepared for that (dh had to go back to work out of town for the day), so hopefully we will have luck with just the one IUI. Does anyone know if IUIs are usually done two days in a row?? I am definitely ovulating this morning. Much pain in the abdomen area. Angel, you are likely ovulating with your cramps. Taking clomid can make you have multiple follicles which can be more painful for ovulation than normal ovulation pains. Angela, did you ever get your u/s?? BTW, Jen, don't worry about your HSG. I've heard that it can even help to conceve because it opens and 'slicks' your tubes. With mine I had some af type cramps for about 20 minutes after the procedure, then it was over. Let us know how it goes!!! |

Hi KellyN I didnt have an u/s because this is my first month so i wanted to see if nature could be persuaded with the clomid i hope that everything goes well for myself and everyone else KellyN how long have you been trying to have a baby cause you seem to know alot about the different symptoms that everyone is having baby dust to all |

My HSG yesterday went fine. I expected the cramping during the procedure, went home and resumed life as usual. I woke up at 3:30 A.M. with stomach cramps and have not been able to sleep since. Every time that I stand up I get light headed and start to black out...No fever though. I've been taking Ibuprofen since yesterday but no relief. I'm really not usually a wimp when it comes to pain. Has anyone ever experienced these effects from HSG? I guess I'll wait until this afternoon and see if the pain subsides. If not, I'll call the doc. Kelly, wondering if the IUI was uncomfortable. Crossing my fingers for you that it worked! |

Hey everyone.. how is everyone feeling in here... well i started the bding last night with hubby ... those ovulation (clearblueeasy) are soo hard to read... one minute it looks like there is a lh surge and then it doesnt... i dont get it... any ways not to many cramps today..... my plan is to have sex and wait and see what happens.. if it doesnt work this month then the doctor is going to increase clomid to 100mg and not to sure if she is going to induce my period again with provera... we will see.. hopeing it is working this first time.. when i talked to my doctor i told her about the cramps and she said that it means that the medicane is working .. woo hoo... i also think that next month if i have to do the clomid thing again ... she is going to monitor me more... |

Hi ladies! Angel, I have been ttc for a year, but only found out last cycle that I had pcos. I have been through one cycle of clomid before this one. I'm feeling better than I did this morning. Ovulation was pretty bad. Not bad enough for me to stay home from work, but bad enough to need to stay sitting down the whole day. It still hurts when I stand. This is such a pain!! Amanda, I am just north of you in Georgia, so we will get the storms next. You guys beat that thing down a little before it gets here will ya! ;o) |

Amanda, We have be ttc for 2years and 1week. WOW!! I have had all the test done that I can imagine I had my HSG done last Nov. and I had slight blockage on my right tube not too bad though. I do have pcos and I do not ovu. at all they have me taking metform. 1000mg daily. I am starting clomid the first week of sept. which it is so confusing!!! They have me taking 2 pills a day at 50mg each. I hape something happens. Baby dust to all. Does anyone know what is going on with Edy yet? I hope everything is good. Baby dust and good luck. |

Just checking in... waiting to hopefully get a positive OPK!! I haven't had any pain or anything weird happen, I had a hot flash in the middle of the night last night, but that's all.... Amanda, any luck O'ing yet? |
