Hi everyone... still never got a positive OPK, hopefully I just missed it, but have a gut feeling that's not the case. Still been bding every other day just in case. I go for a blood test on Tues. to see if I O'd... Have a good weekend everyone!

Kerri - September 2nd, 2005 7:47 PM

Hi Ladies....hope everyone is hanging in there--whether you're waiting to O or in the "ever-so-long" 2ww. I told my parents about us ttc and PCOS--it was accepted well--they said it took them 19 months to get pregnant with me and 2 years with my brother--so our 11 months of ttc didn't seem so long. My mother said that she has some signs of PCOS but was never diagnosed with it---the only testing they did was with my dad and his count was low so they just thought that he was the reason pregnancy wasn't happening. We went to an RE today--I'll begin Metformin next week and up my Clomid dosage to 100mg---praying for follicles on day 14 u/s so that we can try IUI---was very disappointed that we had to cancel IUI this cycle b/c I wasn't responding to Clomid 50mg--but very excited to start again--heard about some tough Metformin side effects, but it will be worth it to be a Mommy. Hope everyone has a great Labor Day weekend!

Gina - September 2nd, 2005 9:58 PM

hello to everyone! your right kellyn tons of us on this fourum! Its been a busy day today. work and went to see mthr in law. ohh the gas prices...ouch! anyways, i started the provera today =). I ate with the dose to ease the tummy aches and i think it worked cause i didnt feel too icky. i got a minor headache but it could have been because of music we were playing on the long car ride(gotta love the oldies station). to those of you who also started with provera what were your symtoms? i also have a question on BBT. i was doing BBT for several months until this last 4 mnths that i didnt get my period, and i know im going to definately start again when my period comes, but should i just start taking temp in the morning now while on the provera? Hope everyone has a safe and happy labor day weekend, and good luck. talk to you all 2morrow

Gabby - September 3rd, 2005 12:21 PM

Kerri I am on both Metformin and Clomid 100mg I am starting the Clomid this month. My Dr. said that when you put the 2 meds together they work wonders. so good luck to you. I haven't had really bad effects from the metformine. just make sure you eat on a regular basis other wise you will get dizzy!!! You should be fine though. I hope everything works out for you this month. Good luck to all and double baby dust to all.

miranda - September 3rd, 2005 2:54 PM

well got no af after prometrium so got u/s thurs and dr said i had just o'd within the past 24 hrs but just got af today.....anyone else had this....

Nicki - September 3rd, 2005 10:45 PM

Hi, everyone! I started my Prometrium, so I have been very tired. Now, I just have to wait for af to start my Clomid. Then, wait for o! Then, start my 2ww! It is so endless!!! Gina, I started BBT this month again when I started my Prometrium since it makes me af. I didn't BBT with no af, since it was pointless, if that helps. I am waiting to see how my temps do. I started BBT a few days before I started the Prometrium just to see the effects on my body. Thanks for the welcome from everyone! Also, happy anniversary, Amanda! (I am new to this so I am a little late.) Well, I am going to go take my meds and go to bed... Good luck to everyone! Baby dust to all!!!!!

Nicki - September 3rd, 2005 10:50 PM

Before I am off to bed, has anyone else gained weight taking all of these hormones? It is so depressing!! Also, Miranda, I have not had that happen - I have always started with Prometrium about 2-3 days after my last pill. I am also taking it for 12 days to start my af, then on to Clomid 50 mg on days 5-9.

miranda - September 4th, 2005 12:02 PM

I will be taking clomid days 3-7...then i will start estradiol on days 8-11 then after ovulation i will use prochieve to support a possible pregnancy....im hoping so much for twins although one more will be a great gift for me too....

miranda - September 4th, 2005 12:03 PM

p.s. I start clomid tomorrow...kind of excited but scared of the side effects as well....

Nicki - September 4th, 2005 12:52 PM

Miranda, the side effects are not great. I didn't really get them until my last days of Clomid. I didn't know what was wrong with me!! I had a constant headache, HOT FLASHES, and was very moody and depressed. But once I was finished, they all went away within two to three days - so if you experience any, just keep hope until those days come!!! :) And think of the baby it is going to help you make!!!!! Good luck!!

miranda - September 4th, 2005 9:15 PM

nicki, are you still taking clomid or are you pregnant?....and did you take it in the morning or at night?...thanks for the info...

Nicki - September 4th, 2005 10:22 PM

Miranda, I am on my 2nd cycle of Clomid this month. I thought I was pregnant last month but no luck. :( I took it at night, but that is just because that is when I take all my meds. I don't know if that is a positive or a negative thing. I tried to take Prometrium in the mornings, but it makes me too tired and very sleepy. Hope this helps some. I just feel totally dependent on my body right now to do the right thing when it's supposed to. I wish I could somehow not think or worry about it so much.

Angel - September 5th, 2005 10:52 AM
