i have been on metformin for two weeks and have just had a positive pregnancy test. i did four tests you buy from the chemist and i have a referral for a blood test. i'm suprised and shocked that it could happen so fast esp when i am only on 1/2 tablet twice a day. Does anyone know if this causes false positives? |

Hi all. On my 3rd full cycle with Metformin, its day 14 and I am ovulating! I normally ovulate any day between day 16 and 20 so I am really pleased. The Metformin are obviously doing something. Better go wake my hubby up and make the most of it!!! Wink wink nudge nudge... wish us luck |

I went to a spiritual spell caster for help getting pregnant. I am not sure who is open to this idea, but I have been very blessed with a beautiful daughter. I tried a lot of things that didn't work, but two weeks after asking for her help I conceived. |

My Gynecologist put me on Metformin due to my condition to treat my infertility. I have PCOS (PolyCystic Ovarian Syndrome) which causes an insulin resistance. I was only put on it TO GET PREGNANT, so YES it IS used to treat infertility. I just started it myself after many unsuccesful trials of Progesterone and Chlomaphine. I just had to reply since some think it isn't for fertility. |
