Hi girls, welcome debbie and good luck this cycle. My re just called, he said my levels are over 40, which is great only hope its a good sign, it's the highest its ever been. Helen- take care of yourself try not to get sick. I can relate to the sleeping in the other room, lol but unfortunatly i still got sick. Lynn - thanks for your support, i can tell u are a wonderful person as all the ladies in this forum. Okiejpb - good luck with the "natural cycles" there have been to cases at my dr's office where they took some time off and got pg, i guess they still had some meds in there system or it regulated something for a while. Carrie - did u ask what excellent means? Anna - any news. Baby dust to all!!! Oh i'm still very stuffed up but thankfully no fever.

Lynn - October 20th, 2005 4:40 PM

Debbie - welcome to our little support group. Maybe we are getting bigger. You are correct that this is a place where you can get a boost. Even though I am not trying at this time, I still come here hoping one of these girls will have great news to get us all to the next step. Helen - I have previously had my levels checked. Actually I have had them checked every month I was on clomid which showed I O'd. I think I have them checked during one of the ultrasound visits but do not usually ask why I am getting blood work. I do not have good veins and bruise everytime they take blood as a result so I just hope it goes fast and leave. Since the ectopic and changing doctors, I feel better about things. Be careful about that fever. Mari - glad your feeling better. I appreciate your kind words. It is wonderful to have each of you to support through this posting. I am glad I found this site. Quick question for any of you out there. Have you been told yes or no for the flu shot?

Mari - October 20th, 2005 4:59 PM

Lynn - I was given an ok regarding the flu shot. My re said ok and i also spoke to two different nurses and they say it is fine.

Debbie - October 21st, 2005 4:45 PM

I got my levels back, but I don't how to interpret them. My estradiol level was 300 on day 5. I have 3 follicles on each side. Mostly between 6.5 and 8.00. One dominant at 14 mm. Is this good? I'm starting to feel very tired. Did this happen to anyone?

helen - October 21st, 2005 11:42 PM

hi girls!!! i finally had to kick my DH out to his parents house. lol his fever is still above 101. thanks girls for worrying. lynn, i did hear it is okay to get the flu shot. i'll probably get one next week. Mari, hope you'll be fully recovered by the end of the weekend. your prog. levels are great. its probably a little higher because of the prometrium. any side effects from that? i have major side effects- swollen belly, tired, metallic taste, headache, my back hurts, and i feel like i've been through the ringer!!! it'll be all worth it if it works. Debbie, your E2 levels are great and you are responding well to your meds. what dosage did your RE put you on? and yes, i believe we were all tired & grouchy. anna, what's up with you girl? haven't heard from you in awhile. Mari, when do you go in for your beta? i'll go on wed. if i don't start my AF ( i'm keeping my fingers crossed for us) happy baby dreams.

Debbie - October 22nd, 2005 10:32 AM

200 iu every day so far. I have another ultrasound and blood test on Sunday.

Mari - October 22nd, 2005 10:34 AM

HI girls - Helen I go in on thurs. for my beta. It's good your going wed. one day less to wait. I'm starting to get a bit anxious how about you? I don't feel pg, but then again i wouldn't know what feeling pg is, lol. Debbie- i was extremly tired during my cycle and still am no matter how much sleep i. Helen have u had those side effects before with the prometrium. I'm a little bloated, irritable, tired, thankfully no headaches yet and i usually get those alot. talk to u later girls. BABY DUST TO ALL!!!!

Mari - October 22nd, 2005 10:36 AM

Debbie - wow that seems a lot, with that much your follies should grow in no time. good luck.

Anna - October 22nd, 2005 2:43 PM

Hi girls!!!! Debbie-welcome.. Helen - just got my AF (finally) starting the shots tomorrow 100iu and then I want to do IUI this month. Keep that flu away from u. Mary & Helen Im keeping my fingers cross. Lynn-

helen - October 23rd, 2005 1:54 AM

hi girls...Mari, i don't usually have these symptoms. they started almost immediately after the prometrium. I don't think it happened this month for me girls. my temps are already starting to decline a bit. i'm already starting to get so depressed. Mari and Carrie, i hope you girls have better luck!!! we need some BFP's!!! Anna, finally you can begin another cycle, how exciting for you. you should consider doing an IUI this month. you never know... Debbie, wow your dosage is pretty high. you need to be careful that your follicles don't over develop otherwise they might ask you to cancel your cycle. what dosage were you on with clomid? and how did you respond to that? we wish you only the best. so this will be your 6th IUI? Lynn, Okiejpb, Beth, hope you girls are doing well and enjoying your weekend. bye girls.

Lynn - October 23rd, 2005 3:48 PM

Hey Girls....Helen - don't give up so easily. You never know what will happen. You ladies are so much more informed than I am. When they do the IUI, I do not chart temps or anything. I just try to wait out my 2 weeks and do a HPT. I do not think I am going to get a flu shot. The one time I did, I got sicker than a dog and now I am scared to get one. I asked my general physician and he said it was not a need for me to have one and if I get sick from them, not to. I only get sick once a year and feel pretty lucky. Anna - glad you are trying again. Do you know what you will be doing this month? I wish you all the luck and support in whatever you and your hubby try. Mari and Carrie - How are you both doing? Your time is almost up. I wish you the best. Beth and Okiejpb - have you decided how you will do your IVF? Debbie - let us know how it is going. Have a good rest of the weekend........

Debbie - October 23rd, 2005 3:51 PM

My husband and I are getting really concerned now. I don't know why they continued my dosage at such a high level. Today my estradoil level was 1200 and they want me to take one more shot tonight at 150 iu and my hcg shot will be tomorrow night. They want to try to increase my lining (today 6.8). I have 10 follicales. The doctor said that most likely 3 of them will ovulate.
I don't remember my dosage levels when I was on clomid. I'll have to find out. Do any of you know what size your follicles need to grow to ovulate and how fast do they grow?

Carrie - October 23rd, 2005 6:20 PM

Hi..Ladies!! Been out of town and just now catching up with all of you. I'm glad to hear that you all are doing good and trying to stay positive. today is day 25 for me. My progestrone levels were excellent and no supplement was needed. I still don't know what "excellent"means but it doesn't really matter now. All I did with this cycle was Letrozale, follistim, and the IUI..It is really getting closer to testing time and I am terrified. I have had a little cramping and perhaps sorer BB's than normal, but I don't know if that is really the case or I am just wishing it so. My Dr. told me to test on day 28 but I think I am going to wait...I hate testing, getting my hopes up and then if it doesn't come out like I want I'll be upset.. DH is trying to keep my postive. "Baby, you didn't even need progestrone, things must be good"..Bless his heart..between him and you ladies I can't help but hope for the best.

Mari - October 24th, 2005 5:04 PM

Well i did what i say i will stop doing every cycle, i tested and of course it was neg. i looked at the thing for about ten minutes, (pathetic isn't it?) i do not understand!, what's happening with me, why can't i get pg? i am so frustrated and even a little mad, i hate those hpt's. sorry girls needed to vent. i am sooo depresed and i tested without telling my dh because deep down i knew it would be neg. it always is why would this time be any different. i wanted to keep this disapoinment from him for at least a couple of more days, it just breaks my heart seeing him so excited at the beggining of the cycle and then having to be my support at the end when i now it hurts him so much. this was my 5th iui, don't know what to do anymore. Hope there is better news with u girls.

Mari - October 24th, 2005 5:07 PM

Helen - just read your post, sorry honey. I now how u feel. Carrie - good luck on your beta hope u have better news. Lynn - thanks for being such wonderful support. Anna - how are u holding up with the meds?

helen - October 24th, 2005 9:42 PM

hi girls. well, it's 12piui and i started to spot today. i called my RE and asked him if i should stop the prometrium and he wants me to come in tomorrow morning to take the beta and than to stop if neg. Mari, i'm asking myself the same questions you are. it is soooo frustrating and not to mention, draining on the mind and body! its still too early for a HPT for you. you still have some hope! Carrie, hope you have some good news. By the way, the progesterone supplements are for precautionary measures. i also had excellent day 21 progesterone levels, the prometrium is just to support the uterus in case of pg. hope that helps you in some way. when do you go for your beta Carrie? Debbie, what cd are you in? your lining is probably too thin because you didn't have enough time. they usually trigger at 18mm. how big are your follies? 10 follies, good job! and your estradiol levels are great. will you be doing another IUI? good luck to you on this cycle and lots of happy baby thoughts. Lynn, thanks for your support as always. i'll know more tomorrow morning so i'll keep you girls posted. Mari, keep positive thoughts, it's not over until the fat witch shows up!
