helen-well, lots of symptoms...i think. but who knows if they are due to hcg or progesterone, or estrogen??? i'm on the prog. suppositories now. fun, fun! I have a constant dull pain in my abdomen, which i think is from retrieval. i feel kind of ill most of the day, but that could be from the estrogen pills. my nipples seem larger and it looks like there are two prominent blue veins in my boobs that i hadn't noticed before. i am heavy in the chest area, so they are always sore once i take my bra off. so i'm not considering the soreness. well, have i analyzed enough yet?? i'm trying to take my mind off things...watching movies with the hubby, making xmas gifts, etc., but it is always in the back of my mind. i know you ladies can feel my pain. ladies going all natural...have fun! you can still have fun...even though its timed. i know, a little more difficult, but put some mood music on, light some candles and have fun! those of you with iui and ivf coming up, good luck!! those of you in 2ww, i feel your pain. stay positive and try not to give in and take a hpt. lots of happy baby thoughts to all and thanks for your support!

Lynn - December 6th, 2005 8:29 PM

hey there...Helen, it seems we are the only 2 going the old fashion route. It has been fun but I can relate to making timed BD hard. I am trying not to talk about BDing for a baby since hubby said it puts stress on him to "perform". I am on cd 16 and I have had lots of EWCM for last couple of days so we have been busy. Beth...keep us posted!!! I noticed bright blue veins in my chest when I was pregnant in Sept. which was only about 3 weeks into the pregnancy. I know this is hard and I can relate to analyzing everything. I am going through it now hoping I am ovulating from the left side this month and it works so i do not need to do drugs. Debbie...did you do IUI today? hope it went well. Carrie, keep us posted. Is anyone else trying this month? If so...good luck and keep us posted. I thank god nightly for having girls to talk to about the same situation. Thanks....

Edy - December 7th, 2005 3:55 PM

Hey everyone!! Sorry I haven't posterd in a while. Carrie, Beth and Debbie- Good Luck during your 2ww! Lynn and Helen- I hope yall are having fun!!!! Hopefully there will be many BFP to report soon!!! Well I am 6 weeks today. I had to go to RE yesterday because I was having severe pain. Well it turns out that I have OHSS. Both ovaries are huge, but my left one has a very large cyst and that is were the pain is. I am on bed rest and do feel much better today. We also found out we are having TWINS!! Possibly Triplets. I only had 2 follicles, but there were 2 more at 16mm at time of IUI and he thinks that 1 of those matured. We will have to wait until Monday to find out if it is going to be viable. I am leaving it in Gods hands. I know how difficult a triplet pregnancy can be, but if we are going to have Triplets, then we will be okay!! I am so excited, but still in shock.I will keep all of you in my prayers, please do the same for me!!! Sending lots of baby dust your way!!!!

helen - December 7th, 2005 4:43 PM

Edy, CONGRATS!!!! i am so happy for you. twins would be wonderful. triplet pregnancy would be so hard, but if you can handle it, all the more power to you. i'm sure you'll be in good hands if God has decided to bless you with more than one child. sorry to hear of your OHSS. will your RE manage it somehow or do you have to wait out the 1st trimester and let it go away on its own? you are soooo lucky!!! please keep us posted on your progress. and i'll definitely keep you in my prayers. Beth, your symptoms sound promising. I'm hoping for a BFP for you so i could have more courage to go thru with my IVF. well girls, the 21st is nearing closer. hopefully this natural cycle took and i won't have to go thru IVF. Carrie, how did IUI go yesterday? Debbie how are you doing on your 2ww? Lynn, are you done BD? i read somewhere that your tube can pick up the egg even if you O'd on the other side. lets just hope you O'd on the left side and your body did its job. i guess we're all on our 2ww now. let's just hope for many miracles this christmas month.

Debbie - December 7th, 2005 4:51 PM

Sunday I will be leaving for a seven day cruise. YEAH! So hopefully I will not have time to think about fertility soooo much; just a little...I hope. My two week wait will be ending during the end of the cruise. I'll inform you when I return.

Carrie - December 7th, 2005 6:47 PM

IUI went great yesterday. DH was able to go this time so hopefully that will make the difference. We had great sperm stuff, good mucus, everything like it needs to be..now we just have to hope it takes. Edy- I am so happy for you. I know everything will work out like it is suppose to. DH and I are going skiing at the end of next week through christmas, so that will keep my mind of things. If it doesn't happen this month then DH and I are going to just wait a month (to start another cycle it would need to be in the re's office the day after x-mas)We are hoping for a christmas mircle. Good luck to you all and thanks again for ALL the wonderful support

Lynn - December 7th, 2005 8:11 PM

Carrie and Debbie...we all will be hopeful this is your month. I will be in my 2ww but I am not going to stop BD incase I have some time in my ovulation cycle. I know I definitely O'd this month but I am really praying for a miracle. Helen...I really hope it works for both of us. Keep me posted. I already told myself unless AF shows, I am not taking a HPT until the 25th. Beth, how are you feeling? Edy...twins, gosh that would be greatly welcomed on this end. I am happy for you. keep us posted on the triplets. To everyone else waiting for IVF, I hope your still with us. Like Carrie said..thanks for being a good support network.

beth - December 7th, 2005 8:41 PM

Hi Ladies-It sounds like everyone is staying positive! That's awesome...and I know it's contagious!! We all need to stay positive for each other! Edy-Ditto what everyone else said! I am thrilled for you! And I have to admit...a little jealous. But I agree with Helen..when I hear success stories, it makes me even stronger and allows me to stay positive. CONGRATS Edy and good luck with your pregnancy. Keep us posted! For the rest of us, it's gonna happen!! It's just a matter of when!! I think that through all this, there are lessons to be learned. Keep an eye and an ear out for them. They say that the strongest women are faced with the hardest obstacles. Well, I feel like Ms. Universe! So anyway, I wish I could list lots of preg. symptoms I've been having, but other then the boob stuff, there's not too much else. No discharge or out-of the ordinary nausea. It's making me nervous. Actually, I've been really constipated lately. Is this a symptom? Debbie and Carrie-fantastic that you guys are going on vacations! Please have fun for me!! Try to stay in touch, but most importantly...have fun!!! BABY DUST TO ALL!!!

helen - December 9th, 2005 3:06 AM

hi girls...how's everyone doing? Beth, i like your analysis of life. it's already fri. only 4 more days to go. don't break down and test early!! :-) i think the prometrium makes you constipated. it did for me anyways. or maybe just a symptom of a BFP!! Carrie, i'm so glad that your IUI went well. hopefully this will be your month and this would be your last IUI. Debbie, have fun on that cruise. where are to sailing to? Lynn, you've been a busy bee. you've definitely covered O by now. at least you had fun in the process!! Mari, are you back yet? i hope you're having a great time. Okiejpb, if you still check in here from time to time, when are you scheduled to go to your RE? have you started BCP yet? let us know when you start your IVF cycle. happy baby dreams girls!!! loads of baby dust our way!!!

helen - December 9th, 2005 11:44 AM

i don't take prom. just estrogen and progesterone. what is prom? and do you think the constipation would be due to the prog or estr? so how are you? you must be past O. will you be taking bbt? or just wait? i'm going to try really hard not to break down and do a hpt. i just have to stay busy! thanks for all your support and happy baby thoughts right back atcha!

beth - December 9th, 2005 1:53 PM

hey ladies-that last post was me, not helen. is stupidity a symptom??? :)

mari - December 9th, 2005 7:27 PM

helen - December 9th, 2005 11:10 PM

hi girls...Beth, you're too funny. i guess despite this whole ordeal, you still have your sense of humor intact!!! prometrium is progesterone supple. the prog. will definitely make you constipated. which suppositories are you on for the prog? hey, you should keep a journal of your progress and keep track of all your symptoms, ect...it'll be fun to look back on when you get your BFP and see which symptoms were real. and this way, i can pick your brain when it comes to my IVF :-) only 3 more days to go...i bet the days are going by sooooo slowly. it would be the longest 2ww ever!!! i have past O. only the 2ww left. nothing exciting to report on this end. Mari, how are you doing sweetie, thanks for checking in on us. can't wait till you get back. the 2 months will fly by quickly. it's already been almost 2 mo since my last IUI and time has flown by. how long will you be on Lupron for? Lynn, hows the 2ww coming along? can you believe its already Dec? okay girls, hope you all have a great weekend and try to keep yourselves busy! i'll be thinking of baby thoughts for all of you beautiful girls.

Lynn - December 10th, 2005 8:08 AM

Hey girls....did not log in yesterday. I have been so tired the last 2 days and have crashed to sleep by 9pm. Well, tomorrow will be 1 week down. I am actually going to wait until Dec. 25th before I take a HPT if no AF. When I take it around 28, it is always NO. My Breast are a little tender, do you think it is too early to have symptoms? I have been praying this is the month for all of us who are trying and those who have chosen IVF, have success also. Beth...the days are coming closer, I am so excited and hope you have the greatest news to share. Will you be keeping it a secret or sharing with the world? Edy...any news on how many? You are so lucky and soon we will all be sharing our stories. Helen, we will wait together and got through the wait. Mari...nice to hear from you. Keep us posted on your IVF journey. Debbie...enjoy the time away. Let us know where you are going. Anna??? How are you? Haven't seen your name. Okiejpb..hope your still doing well. Okay ladies...happy baby thought and dust to everyone!!!!!!

Lynn - December 10th, 2005 8:17 AM

UGH!!!!!!! I typed this big lone message and when I hit submit, it did not do it due to changes in the forum. Hmmmm, tomorrow is 1 week for me and 1 to go. I am not taking a HPT until Dec 25th if no AF. That will be 35 days which is when all have shown pregnant if I was. If I get AF, we contact RE and begin follistim + IUI. Beth...I am praying hard you hear good news. Edy...how many are we having, have they confirmed? Helen....how are you dealing with the 2ww? Mari....nice to hear from you and hope you join us soon. Debbie...have fun and let us know where you are going. Anna and Okiejpb...how are you? Are y'all still with us? Baby dust all around. Later ladies....
